Rain's pov:

I tapped my phone on the roof of my car as i stood beside it, staring at the queue of cars going into the racing area.

Now, if it was before, i would have gotten into the queue and went in.

But i know p'Phayu already told the men to not let me in. So I'm here a bit further away, hidden from view in a dark spot.

Now, don't get me wrong.

I'm not here to storm in there and yell at him or anything.

I don't have any interest in getting in there at all actually.

I looked at my phone screen which displayed a text message from p'Pai.

P'Pai: P'Pakin is here tonight.

I had asked him to tell me when p'Pakin attends the race as a favor.

I haven't told him or Sky what I'm planning to do though.

They were confused but agreed to help me without asking questions for now. With the promise of not endangering myself.

I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket.

I had worn all black tonight so i would be less noticeable.

No, I'm not going to sneak in. Like i said, I'm not here to get in.

I went toward the guard who was standing the furthest away from the queue of people cars.

He immediately put a hand on his hip, probably the holster of his gun when noticed me walking upto him.

I smiled and raised my hands in the air.

"It's me. No need to be on guard."

I know he recognises me since I've seen him a lot when i came here with p'Phayu.

"You are not allowed to go in anymore." He spoke firmly.

"I know. I'm not here to try and get in either." I nodded, glancing around.

Thankfully, none of the guests seem to take notice of me. A few guards were glancing at me but weren't really paying attention.

"Then why are you here?" The one i was talking to, asked.

I pushed my hands into my pockets.

"I'm here to ask a small favor from p'Pakin."

He blinked, obviously surprised at that.

"Can you tell him his favourite mechanic's boyfriend is here to ask him a favor? I would appreciate if you kept it between as less of you as possible. I don't want anyone of my friends or p'Phayu knowing about this." I said.

"What are your intentions?" He frowned.

"Like i said, i just want to ask him for a favor. I can even wait till the event ends if he can't come before that." I shrugged.

He still looked wary but took his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.

"I want to relay a message to boss. From a former attendee." He spoke into the phone.

A second or two passed in silence before he spoke again.

"Hello boss. Khun Phayu's former boyfriend is here. He said he wants to ask a favor from you... Yes... No, he does not want to be let in. He said he's just here to ask a favor from you... Yes..."

He passed me the phone. "He wants to talk to you."

I smiled and took it, bringing it up to my ear.

"Hello, p'Pakin?"
