I apologize.
Rain's pov:
I hummed to myself as i walked down the hallway along with Sky.
He was typing away on his phone while walking.
I just knew it was p'Pai judging by his expression going from annoyed to happy and then back every few seconds.
So i made sure he didn't bump into anything or anyone while walking.
.
.
.
I stopped him when we were at the entrance. He looked up from his screen, only then noticing that we were already at the entrance.
"It's dangerous to go downstairs while typing." I grinned when he looked at me.
He blushed slightly and turned his phone off before keeping it in his pocket.
I chuckled at his cute expression.
"And you say p'Pai is clingy. You're not any better."
He rolled his eyes. "Yes, I am. I'm not as bad as him."
"Sure, you are." I shook my head, amused.
He was about to argue but stopped when we saw p'Pai coming toward us.
"Done with classes?" He smiled as he approached us.
I nodded along with Sky since he was glancing at me too.
He reached out and ruffled my hair while pecking the crown of Sky's head.
"I'm going to steal him from you then, sunshine. We planned a date today." He smiled at me.
I smiled back and nodded. "He told me. I'm going to head home as well. I'll see you guys tomorrow."
"See you." I waved before hopping down the stairs and going toward the inner parking lot where my car is.
.
.
.
I had just started my car when my phone rang with a text.I took it ouf of my pocket and was surprised to see an ID i never expected to see.
Sun.
He's never texted me.
I got his number only because he called me once to tell me to bring some snacks home on my way back from class.
Other than that, he's never called or texted me.
I quickly opened the text.
My heart skipped a beat when i saw what it was.
He was asking me to come home. That he misses me.
There was a voice in the back of my head saying this was wrong.
That something was off.
But a bigger part of me wanted to cling to these few words.
God knows how badly i want him back.
I quickly sent a reply saying i was on my way back.
A smile formed on my face a celebratory sticker came as a reply.
Maybe...
Maybe i can still salvage this...
I took a deep breath and pushed down the feeling of unease in my gut before starting to drive.
It's ok.
It's just Sun.
Nothing bad can happen.
He's still my family.
Even if he doesn't love me.

Pete's pov:I groaned internally as i rested back against my seat, glaring out the window of the car.
