Phayu's pov:

The venue was beautifully decorated.

There were numerous fairy lights hanging from the high ceiling along with a big chandelier in the middle. The lights were purple and dim but not enough to make it hard to see around. There were long tables on the left that had all sorts of food and drinks served on them and to the right, there was a bar that was being run by Uncle Porsche and Uncle Kinn. (It was so obviously popular and packed with many people, as expected). And then there were smaller round tables scattered here and there in the middle with white tablecloths and flowers as the main piece.

There were many people already there by the time we got there.

Almost all eyes were on us as we went in, his arm looped around mine.

I felt smug as i saw gazes sweeping over our marks, disappointment appearing on some of their faces.

He's mine.

I could feel the same feeling of smugness coming from him as well.

Uncle Kinn and Uncle Porsche noticed us even from the distance, shooting us knowing grins which i reciprocated.

We went to the table with food where Papa and Dad were standing. Papa was eating some macaroons while Dad was nursing what looked like a glass of champagne.

"Oh wow, Rain, you look so pretty." Papa gasped when he saw him.

"Thank you." Rain chuckled.

"You don't look too bad either, Venice. New outfit?" Dad looked me up and down with an intrigued gaze.

I never normally wear these types of clothes after all.

"Designed by Rain." I nodded toward him.

"Ahh." He nodded in understanding.

"Here. This is from us. Happy 30th anniversary." I handed them the gift i was holding.

It was in a simple jungle green gift bag.

"Thank you, baby." Papa took it with a big smile, keeping the plate he was holding on the table.

"What is it?" Dad looked at it.

"I made them myself. I hope you guys like it." Rain winked.

They looked at him surprised.

"You made them yourself?"

"He did. He said he wanted to make you something special since you already have everything you want anyway." I grinned.

I knew they caught onto what i meant when i emphasized the word special.

"Can i open it now?" Papa looked at him.

"Of course." Rain nodded.

Papa wasted no time in carefully taking it out of the bag.

"Oh wow. I rarely see this color of jewelry boxes." He muttered as he saw the box.

"It's beautiful." Dad smiled as he took the bag from Papa so his hand would be free.

Papa undid the latch and opened it.

"Oh, my god." He gasped when he saw the pendants.

Dad also looked equally mesmerized.

"They're charms. Nature and animals will protect you and think of you as one of theirs when you wear them. It took some work to convince the spirits that you won't harm them." Rain stepped a bit closer to them and whispered so only we could hear.
