4. Road Trip

These next few chapters will be irl unless I clarified.

Friday after school, the girls have already left and everyone else has finished packing and they are loading the car.

Arlo: "Is that everything?"

John: "Yeah, I think so."

John: "And I call shotgun!"

Blyke: "Aww, I wanted shotgun!"

John: "Well, ya snooze ya loose"                       

Everyone got in the car and Arlo set the phone on a stand after opening google maps.

Isen: "How long is it going take?"

Arlo: "About 8 hours"

Isen and Blyke stared at him with open eyes

Isen: "WHAT!?"

Blyke: "8 HOURS?!"

John: "Yeah?"

John: "We don't exactly live anywhere near an ocean."

Isen: "But 8 hours is too looonnggg"

Arlo: "Quit whining"

Isen: "But I didn't bring any food or drinks with me!"

Blyke: "Well I guess we could stop by a gas station if we needed to."

John: "Yeah, so quit whining and shut up, you're giving me a headache."

Isen: "Hmph..."

Blyke: "I agree"

Isen: "Blyyyke! You're supposed to be on my side!"

Blyke*mumble*: "You're making that kinda hard.."

Isen crossed his arms and pouted 

Remi: "I'm bored"

Sera: "We could play Slappy Pig?"

Remi: "What's that?"

Sera:...

Sera proceeds to show Remi how to play slappy pig.

1 hour later

Sera: "I got 230 points"

Remi: "Noooo, I got 210!"

Sera: "That's still pretty good!"

Remi: "Hey, we should prank the boys!"

Sera: "That's a great idea!"

Remi: "But what prank?"

Sera: "Hmmm... Not sure"

Isen: "Are we therrree yettt?"

Blyke and John rubbed their temples

Blyke: "This is the 7th time you asked that!"

John: " I know and there's still like 6 and a half hours left!"

Arlo: "Aagh! I can't stand 6 and a half more HOURS of this!"

Isen: "I'm hungryyy!"

John angrily turned around to stare at Isen

John: "If we stop by a gas station, will you SHUT UP!"

Isen now terrified slowly nods 

John: "You know what to do Arlo!"

Arlo: "I'm already on it."

Isen 💭: Yayyyy!

Once they reach the gas station

John Isen and Blyke go to get food while Arlo refills the gas. Isen quickly gets distracted by some pens while John and Blyke continue to look for some more food.

John: "He better stay quiet after this!"

Blyke: "I wouldn't count on it... he never shuts up on car rides unless he's asleep."

John runs a hand down his face and gets an idea

John: " Wait!"

John runs over to the section with baby items 

Blyke: "Why the heck did you come here?!"

John ignores him and continues searching for something 

After a while his eyes widen and a smile appears on his face

John: "I didn't think they would actually have it here!"

Blyke: "Have what?"

John shows Blyke some sleep medicine for trips

 (I don't know if these exist and even if they do please do not take anything in this story as medical advice, this is a fictional story and I don't know anything about medicine. In the story, these are completely safe but I don't know if it is the same in real life. That is if such a thing exists.)

Blyke: "Why would you need that?"

Blyke: " You have trouble sleeping on trips or something?"

Blyke was now slightly concerned  

John: "Yeah kinda and It's gonna be the only way I will fall asleep with Isen."

Blyke: "Yeah, you're right..."

Blyke: "I might need some too"

John: "I know, but we won't use it unless he actually continues to annoy us."

Blyke: "Obviously"

John: "I'm surprised they actually had these, they usually don't"

Blyke: "You sure know a lot about these..."

John: "Uhh yeah I guess... anyways let's go get some food"

Blyke: "Uh, ok."

Blyke and John get some food. Then they get Isen away from the pens and get back in the car.

John: "Ok Isen now you better SHUT UP!"

Isen*mumbles*: "You're no fun..."
