39. Recap Pt. 4

They all went back to the dorms, ate dinner, and went to bed. The next day they all met up with Kuyo after school.

Kuyo: "OK, well you guys can continue, and hopefully you'll finish before curfew."

John: "Hopefully."

Sera: "Alright, where did we stop?"

Arlo: "Elaine left "

John: "Oh yeah, well Sera was still suspended for a week, so she stayed at my place."

Arlo: "The next day, at about 5 am I went to doc and got healed. I went early so no one would ask questions about what happened, but somehow it still got out."

Isen: "There were rumors, and I figured that despite my warnings he still went and provoked John, and since I read his files without any background knowledge, I was worried he was gonna explode."

John: "I'm not a bomb!"

Isen: "I didn't have any context! So until Seraphina came back I tried to help John whenever I could."

Remi: "This is when I asked Cecile to tell me who the anonymous writer is."

Kuyo: "You said she refused to tell you?"

Remi: "Yeah, we argued a bit but I gave up and left. Then I heard the rumors about Arlo and texted him to ask if we could meet up later."

Arlo: "We met up at a park, I asked her about the whole mall incident."

Remi: "And I told him what happened, and that it was weird that the article was so on point. Then I asked him about the rumors and he denied them."

Arlo: "I was surprised because I was pretty sure I made sure I was alone. So I asked Remi for details about the Mall incident."

Remi: "I told him that I stopped by the booth that gave prizes to high tiers, and noticed the chip in the bear, I mentioned that Seraphina had one in hers too."

Arlo: "That made us realize that Seraphina was also being targeted, and if they were the anonymous writer that meant they work under Cecile,"

Kuyo: "Who is also a high tier!"

Arlo: "Yeah, so I came to the conclusion that the anonymous writer had information on every high tier in Wellston."

Remi: "But when he said that, it gave away that the rumors were true. I was kinda mad at him for lying, but he assured me that the injuries had to do with a personal matter."

Isen: "The next day I was still trying to keep John calm, but he and Arlo bumped into each other in the hallway which caused some commotion and the way those two looked at each other! There was so much drama, do you know how hard it was not to write about?! 😭"

Blyke: "No, 'cause you're the only one here that cares so much about 'drama'."

Isen: "Shuddap!"

John: "Moving on, the rest of the day went by pretty normally, until I got home."

Sera: " A few minutes before John came back, his dad decided to visit. We both recognized each other and I told him why I was staying there, he was surprised that I didn't get expelled for reading Unordinary. But then he asked which of us were stronger, I thought he was joking so I laughed. Then John arrived."

Kuyo: "Your dad almost blew your cover there."

John: "Oh, uh, he didn't know I was playing cripple."

Kuyo: "Oh! Seraphina was really close to finding out then."
