37. Recap Pt. 2

Sera: "Well after John noticed the guy following us, we dealt with him and headed back to his apartment. Which is when I found Unordinary and borrowed it."

Blyke: "Geez I didn't realize this would take so long..."

Isen: "Yeah, does make a good story though."

Sera: "Anyway, after I returned to my dorms the next day, somebody dragged me to turf wars..."

Arlo: "...shut up..."

John: "I'm wondering how you convinced her."

Sera: "He was so desperate 🤦‍♀️"

Arlo: "I said shut up..."

Remi: "What did he do? 😑"

Sera: "He told me how 'beautiful' I looked that day"

*Everyone(but Arlo) burst out laughing"

John: "HAHAHAH! Wow, you really were desperate"

Isen: "Pfftt...Arlo said that?"

Sera: "Yup."

Remi: "Have to agree with John and Seraphina here, that's definitely desperate"

Arlo: "..."

Kuyo: "*Still recovering from laughing so much* No kidding"

Arlo: "OK, well moving on. I got her to come to turf wars, and we won."

Sera: "Yeah 🙄 we won and you went Joker mode."

John: "What?!"

Blyke: "Joker mode...fits perfectly."

Kuyo: "Joker mode?"

Remi: "You'll understand soon."

Isen: "Ooooh, this is why Seraphina attacked him isn't it."

Arlo: "...I'm realizing that that wasn't one of my best days"

Sera: "Yeah no kidding."

Remi: "Wait what happened exactly?"

Blyke: "Well, we were going against Agwin and they had a new queen, she was pretty powerful, I couldn't beat her so Arlo went against her, and well...he went too far."

Sera: "Her team admitted defeat but Arlo kept fighting."

John: "OK, I understand 'Joker mode' now."

Arlo: "*sigh* Definitely not one of my best days..."

Blyke: "Seraphina had to step in, we ended up winning  and went back to Welston."

Kuyo: "Oh yeah you two are stronger than Arlo!"

Arlo: "You don't need to rub it in..."

Kuyo: "What were your guys' levels?"

John: "I was a 7.5"

Sera: "8"

Kuyo: *eyes widen* "Wow that's impressive!"

Arlo: "So they're stronger than you too."

Kuyo: "Shut up!"

Arlo: "Anyway, during the ride back, Seraphina's roommate, Elaine, told me that Seraphina was hanging out with a cripple."

Kuyo: "Which would be you, John, right."

John: "Yup."

Arlo: "So I thought that he was the reason she quit turf wars and changed."

Kuyo: "Changed?"

Sera: "I grew up in a household where I had to be 'perfect' and I got so lost in everyone's expectations, that I stopped having fun, or celebrating any achievements."
