12. Boba

John hadn't gotten much sleep because of his nightmares so he was up most of the night. had given up on sleep at about 5 AM. He got out of bed and got ready for his run. Once he was ready he headed downstairs and made breakfast for everyone before leaving at about 5:30 AM

John got back from his run at about 6:30 AM. He headed back to his room and took a shower. But when he got out Arlo was getting out of bed.

Arlo: "Good morning."

John: "Good morning"

With that, John left the room and headed downstairs, and sat on the couch. He then remembered that they were going to jet ski today. He quickly turned on his phone and rented 6 jet skis from a place near the beach. 

Sera: "Hey, John! Good morning!"

John: "Oh hey Sera! Good morning!"

Sera: " I see you made breakfast again!"

John: "Oh yeah, I was thinking me and you could buy some boba?"

Sera: "Alright, let's go."

They both headed to a nearby store to get 6 Bobas.

Sera: "6 mango bobas please."

Shopkeeper: "Sorry, we don't have any of that left in stock."

John: "What!"

Sera: "It's fine, John. It's been a while since we had a different flavor. What flavors do you have?"

Shopkeeper: "Coffee, Strawberry, Pineapple, Pumpkin spice..."

John: "I think I'll take Coffee...I think I'm gonna need the caffeine."

Sera: "Ok, me too, I haven't had Coffee in a while..."

Shopkeeper: "So 6 Coffee bobas?"

Sera: "Yup!"

They got the bobas and started walking home.

Sera: "Oh, wait I just thought of something, Arlo loves Coffee right?"

John: "Oh man I forgot about that, let's go return these and get a different flavor then."

Sera: "Haha! Come on! Maybe this will be the way we get him to enjoy boba!"

John: "He doesn't deserve boba!"

Sera: "True, well too late now..."

John: "*Hmph*"

They got back to the beach house by 8:00 AM. Everyone was up and almost ready.

Remi: "Oh, hey guys, where have you been?"

Sera: "We got boba."

Just then Blyke and Isen came down.

Blyke: "Good morning!"

Isen: "I'm starving, please say that you have food there."

John: "I made pancakes again, it's on the table. And this is more boba!"

Remi: "The boba yesterday was delicious, what flavor did you get?"

Sera: "John wanted mango but they ran out so we got Coffee."

Blyke: "Oh...good I need the caffeine."

Just then Arlo came down.

Arlo: "Hey"

Remi: "Arlo! You're just in time! We were just about to have breakfast."

They all went over to the table and started eating their pancakes.

John: "Hey Sera, where'd you put the boba."

Arlo: "You got boba again?"

John sent Arlo a death stare as he got the boba from the table Seraphina left it.

Arlo: "I'm just saying that much sugar in the morning it's exactly healthy."

Sera: "Says the guy who has black coffee three times a day."

John: "But if you don't want the boba it's fine...I'll have it."

Remi: "Haha! Arlo I think you'll like this one they ran out of mango so they got coffee boba."

Arlo: "Isn't that just coffee with milk, way too much sugar, and weird jelly balls?"

Sera: "Oh man you're about to get it from John..."

John: "JUST...NO BOBA IS WAY TOO GOOD FOR YOU!"

Blyke: "Umm...what?"

John: "I'm saying Arlo doesn't deserve such a delicious drink! *hmph*"

Sera: "John, I agree but let him have a try a least since he never tasted it."

John: "That's his fault." John mumbled as he gave Arlo his boba.

Isen: "Never thought you'd like boba so much..."

Sera: "Pfft...he couldn't survive a day without it."

John: "True."

Remi: "By the way when should we book the jet skis?"

John: "Oh, I already did this morning."

Remi: "Ok that's good. When did you book it for?"

John: "10:00 am to 1:00 pm."

Blyke: "So we should be done with breakfast by 9 and get ready and head to the beach by 10."

Isen: "Sounds good."

Remi: "How's the boba, Arlo?"

Arlo: "Not bad..."

John: "You finished it."

Arlo: "So did you?"

Sera: "But John loves boba, you said it was 'not bad'."

Arlo: "..."

Blyke: "He likes it!"

Arlo: "..."

Isen: "He really does!"

John: "See the magic of ✨BOBA✨!"

Sera: "Indeed."

They all finished breakfast and headed upstairs to get ready.
