36. Recap Pt.1

John: "Oh, umm where do I start?"

Sera: "Maybe new bostin?"

John: "I don't wanna talk about that again..."

Sera: "Calm down it'll be fine, just a brief explanation..."

John: "Fine,...well I was a...late bloomer...so I was a cripple until the end of middle school..."

Kuyo: "Oh...that must have been rough..."

John: "Yeah...I had two friends, Adrion was my friend since childhood and Claire helped me out after an incident with some bullies and we became friends, after I got my ability, they helped train and I got pretty strong, ...but because I was a cripple I was kinda mad at most of the kids at school so....I..."

Sera: "He became...destructive..."

Kuyo: "..."

John: "...Claire's ability is foresight, she gets random visions of the future at random times, and she realized that I was...y, know...so when she got a vision of her and some others standing up against me, she thought that it meant that together they could take me down, so she went to the jack and asked for help, but he didn't believe her so she told him that the only reason she helped me when I was a cripple was because she had a vision that I would get really powerful later on, and wanted to be close to me so she would gain status when I got my ability..."

Kuyo: "WHAT!? So she only became your friend to gain status?!"

John: "That's what I thought...but recently I found out that she was lying to the jack to convince him...Adrion had heard their conversation and tried to warn me but I didn't believe him...but after some time she told me to meet her in a field and when I went there she, the jack and the other kids were all there, just like Adron had said..."

Kuyo: "Ohhh...so you thought that since he was right about that he was right about the reason Claire approached you..."

John: "Exactly, so anyway I ended you beating all of them but the authorities came and took me..."

Kuyo: "Wow, I know you said that it was a long story but I don't get how this relates to..."

Blyke: "He's not even half way done..."

Kuyo: "WHAT?!"

Isen: "Warned you."

Kuyo: "Ok, well keep going..."

John: "Umm...well after the authorities took me I got expelled and was put into some readjustment classes for three months...."

Remi: "I won't call them 'classes'..."

Kuyo: "Hmm?"

Blyke: "The authorities practically tortured him..."

Kuyo: "What do you mean?"

Sera: "They kept him cuffed to a table and his 'teacher', Keon's ability allowed him to replay a person's memories..."

Kuyo: "WHAT?!"

Isen: "Yeah..."

Kuyo: "Wait so during these 'classes' you were CUFFED TO A TABLE then FORCED TO WATCH YOUR MEMORIES BE REPLAYED OVER AND OVER AGAIN?!"

John: "Pretty much..."

Kuyo: "That's messed up..."

John: "Yeah...well I tried fighting back obviously but..."

Isen: "Hard to do anything while being cuffed to a table..."

Kuyo: "What about your ability?"

John: "Oh...well I can copy others' abilities and enhance them."
