41. Recap Pt.6

Kuyo: "That was some day you guys had..."

John: "Yeah... though after everything settled we argued for a while, and figured out some stuff."

Arlo: "Argued? You punched me in the face!"

John: "You started it!"

Remi: "Alright! Just tell us what happened."

John: "*huff* Arlo commented that I was still angry and we started arguing."

Arlo: "And then he punched me, Elaine stepped in and we stopped for a while. Then I was assessing the situation. I found it ridiculous that two high tiers got defeated by two guys, a knife, and a van."

Sera: "Actually you two are god tiers."

Arlo: "Yeah, and we still got beat. I figured that they had something to do with our abilities being dampened. And how they ran off towards the end even though that was probably the best chance they got."

John: "Then I mentioned that I overheard them say  'It's going to wear off soon, and when that happens we're done for."

Arlo: "Elaine said that she had thought that whatever dampened our abilities was with them so when they left they took it with them, but it must have been timed. So we figured that that's how they got Seraphina, they weakened her."

Arlo: "I was wondering how they knew where she was when I remembered the conversation I had with Remi. That they must've used the chip to track her."

John: "He told me and we all realized that since she spent the night they tagged my house."

Arlo: "And then he got mad and-"

Kuyo: "Lemme, guess, you two started arguing again."

John: "Yup."

Isen: "I would hate to be in Elaine's place then. Imagine two god tiers fighting so no matter what side you took, you'll have a god tier mad at you..."

Kuyo: "Poor girl, had to deal with both of you alone 😓"

John: "Hey!"

Arlo: "Oh, come on. It couldn't have been that bad."

Blyke: "Are you sure about that?"

John: "Oh, whatever."

Arlo: "Tch. Moving on, after a while I suggested going to the authorities, but                                        John –understandably–,  shut the idea down immediately, and said that we should contact Doc and the headmaster instead.  We ended up falling asleep after that."

Sera: "I woke up and at first wondered why Arlo was here, I was confused, but then I remembered what happened. All of a sudden I had to throw up, I rushed to the bathroom waking up the others in the process. I threw up and then John caught up to me. but then I remembered that my ability wasn't working properly before I passed out, so I rushed into a room and tried to use my ability but time didn't freeze. I started panicking."

John: "So I tried reassuring her. I told her that she had been passed out for a long time, that the drug was still going through her system, and that we could call Doc. She calmed down, and the Arlo and Elaine walked in."

Sera: "He greeted me, and I asked him what he was doing here. And then John told me about what happened last night, but he said that Arlo had just happened to be with Elaine and came along with her. He summarized what happened  that night but said that Arlo was the one who fought them off."

Arlo: "It was like he had 2 completely different personalities! One minute he's raging but once Seraphina comes into the picture he becomes a completely different person."
