23. UnOrdinary

John ran upstairs to his room, and opened his drawer and took out the copy of unordinary his dad gave him, then he ran back down, and ran into Sera.

Sera: "Ah, you're back!"

John: "Yeah just had to grab this."

Sera: "What's that?...How'd you get that?"

John: "Well awhile ago I asked my dad for another copy of unordinary, but all his copies had been confiscated. On his recent visit he told me that he had rewritten it from memory..."

Sera: "Wow, that's nice...I'm sorry again for not being more careful..."

John: "It's fine...you don't have to apologize"

Sera: "Thanks. let's get to the others now."

Everyone else was in the living room.

John: "Hey"

Remi: "There you are!"

Blyke: "You good?"

John: "Yeah, I just had to get something..."

Isen: "Get what?"

John: "Well...you guys seemed to really want to read unordinary so..."

John showed them his copy.

Remi: "What?"

John: "The copy Sera had was mine, I let her borrow it."

Blyke: "You've read it?!"

John: "Yeah, quite a lot actually..."

Isen: "How'd you get your hands on one in the first place!?"

Arlo: "And that doesn't look like the book."

John: "...Umm...actually my father is the one who wrote unordinary..."

Remi, Isen, Blyke, and Arlo: "WHAT?!"

John: "Heh...yeah...it's something that helped me a lot...anyway after giving my copy to Sera and losing it, I asked him if he had any spare copies, he said that all his copies had been confiscated, but last time he visited he told me that he had tried to rewrite it from memory..."

Remi: "That's sweet..."

Arlo: "How did Unordinary help you?"

John: "After those classes, I didn't leave my room for over a week so my dad gave me the book. That book was the thing that managed to help me..."

Blyke: "So after your copy was gone, it must have been kinda tough..."

John: "Yeah...but anyway, I thought that if you guys wanted you could read this one, it's not exactly like the other one but it has the same effect..."

Remi: "Really?"

John: "Yeah, but try not to let anyone else find it..."

Isen: "Obviously, if Seraphina got suspended for a whole month because of it, then we would probably get expelled!"

Blyke: "Yeah...we should probably be extra careful..."

Arlo: "How'd you guys like the book?"

John: "Well I mean it pulled me out of that state of depression, sooo I'd say pretty good."

Sera: "I liked it too."

Blyke: "Well I'd like to read it."

Isen: "Me too"

Remi: "Yeah me too"

Arlo: "I'm reading it too"

John: "Alright but who's first?"

Remi: "We could read it together."

Isen: "Yeah that sounds like a good idea."

Blyke: "Yeah, sure."

Arlo: "Alright."

Remi: "And Thanks John, we really appreciate it!"

John: "No problem, just don't lose it please"

Blyke: "Of course."

Arlo: "Maybe we could just come here and read it?"

Isen: "That's a good idea!"

Remi: "Yeah, that way it's almost impossible to get caught."

Blyke: "Yeah."

Arlo: "Well I'm really tired I'm heading back to our dorm."

Isen: "*Yawn* Yeah me too."

Remi: "Yeah good idea."

Sera: "yeah I could use a nap."

John: "Okay, bye see you at school tomorrow!"

Blyke: "bye"

They all left by 7:30 PM
