'Taehyung, look. Like I said, I'm happy that you're back but I just can't keep paying for Jungkook's education." Yoongi said as he drank his tea. "I would if I could but I have a daughter of my own, you have to understand that."

The blue boy nodded and he looked down at Macy. "Yeah, I know." He sighed. "I'm just trying to figure out a way to make enough money, My nine to five salary doesn't do much for that."

Jimin, who had been clinging on Taehyung ever since they came to the house, giggled. "Working nine to five, what a way to make a living!" He yelled and Yoongi groaned. The orange boy pouted. "Why do you always demolish my happiness?"

Taehyung patted his best friend's back. "He's like that, Minne, you know that."

"Don't call him Minnie." Yoongi said as he started jerking his boyfriend away from his friend. "And about the money, I can support you. I just can't pay it all."

Taehyung frowned. "That shouldn't be necessary, I just need to get a real job."

Then, they heard a bag drop and they all looked around to see a sad Jungkook. "A real job, Tae? Really?" He asked. No hello, no talking about his day. He first needed to make his boyfriend clear that he's amazing. "You work your ass off, almost every day, just to keep me alive." He said. Taehyung was about to say something but Jungkook wasn't done yet. "If you're having trouble with money, you can just ask me for help, you know? I know I make a lot of jokes and I'm not that much of a mature person but I'm really qualified enough for a job."

Jimin whooed. "Yes, queen!" He yelled. Yoongi gave him an angry look. "Literally, you're more of a bad influence for your child then I am. She's gonna be all grumpy-"

"Jimin, shut up." Yoongi interrupted and he bent over to pick Macy off of the floor. "We should go, you two are going to talk things out and not fight."

The two boys watched the couple leave turning to look at each other. Taehyung patted the couch beside him to sign Jungkook to sit next to him.

Jungkook quietly walked over and sat in his lap instead of on the couch. "Look, I'm getting a job. I've been looking for one, actually." He said, getting straight to the point.

Taehyung looked into his eyes. "But what if you get hurt? Or get sick? Or overwork yourself? You know, Namjoon and Jin told me the story, about the job you had back in the day... Or forward in the days- it's still weird. Anyways, I don't want you to do that to yourself again."

Jungkook frowned. "They told you the story?" He asked and Taehyung nodded. "And you're not mad or disappointed or scared?"

The blue boy frowned. "Of course not? Your past doesn't define your future. You out of all people should know that." He said and Jungkook smiled.

"Thanks." He whispered as he leaned his head into the crook of Taehyung's neck. "I've got to go soon." He said, muted.

Taehyung frowned, "Where to?" He asked.

Jungkook smiled. "The grocery store, they're doing job interviews today."

The other boy chuckled. "Weren't you scared of grocery stores?" He asked. Jungkook shrugged. "Ohhh, you're such a tough baby boy." Taehyung cooed.

Jungkook blushed. "Shut up, you're a bottom."

"Hmm, I'm not that sure about that. You're sitting in my lap, have you noticed that?" Taehyung asked, making Jungkook stand up and sit down on the opposite side of the couch. "Oh come on, you feel like a heat up blanket and I'm cold." The blue boy whined and so Jungkook quickly walked back.

"Yeah, I'm the baby. Sure, you whiny old man."

"Didn't know you were into that." Taehyung said casually. "Weird flex but OK."

"Well, I did date Yoongi and he's five years older so maybe I'll leave you for your grandpa."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows. "You just put the oof meter on large."

Jungkook chuckled. "Good." He said. "Now I'm leaving."
