"Do you have to work?" Jungkook asked, whining a little. It was currently Monday, meaning Jungkook's third night at Taehyung's place had passed. It also meant that Taehyung had to go back to his stupid job. He hated his job so much.

Taehyung rolled his eyes but smiled. "Yes, I do." He said. "You could come to visit me." The older proposed.

Jungkook's face lit up and he jumped a little. "Yes, that's great!" He happily yelled and Taehyung quickly clasped a hand over the younger's mouth, not wanting to have any complaints about making noise at six-thirty in the morning.

"I'll text- wait, we don't even have each other's number." Taehyung stared and Jungkook awkwardly looked at him.

"I don't have a phone..." He admitted and Taehyung frowned. "I don't have enough money, please don't make fun of me."

"Of course not!" Taehyung said, having Jungkook shushing him this time because he was the one yelling. "We'll look at it later, I'll write the address down for you."

-

"Excuse me..?" Jungkook asked in a small voice, not liking to have to talk to strangers. The man whose shoulder he had tapped turned around, a worried look on his face as he looked at the younger's clothes.

Jungkook was wearing a thick sweater with jeans and boots... it was ninety-five degrees fahrenheit outside. "Are you alright, kid?" He asked and Jungkook nodded.

"I just wanted to a-ask if you maybe know this address?" The small boy asked, giving the other male the paper it was written on.

The man gave him directions, a worried look still plastered on his face. Jungkook thanked him before walking his way to Taehyung's work.

His eyes widened when he saw the place. Sweet Cookie, the sign above the pastel-colored store read. Jungkook giggled before he opened the door, making a little tingle come out of the bell above.

He looked around the store, now sure it was a bakery due to all the bakery stuff. He spotted Taehyung in a corner behind the counter, his back turned to him.

The redhead walked over to the counter and cleared his throat. "How sexy, a bakery." He teased and Taehyug turned around to his voice, narrowing his eyes to him.

"Fuck you, I hate this." He said, not even bothering to greet him since the younger didn't either. "I bet you'd look nice in one of these pink aprons though." Taehyung winked and Jungkook blushed.

"I bet you'd look even nicer with just one of those on." Jungkook flirted back, voice too small to sound dominant but he was still able to make Taehyung flustered.

"Shut up." He mumbled before turning around again. Jungkook checked out his back view, staring at the older's butt a little longer than the rest. "Stop, my ass doesn't like being stared at."

Jungkook giggled with slightly red cheeks before leaning his elbows on the counter and resting his head on his hands. "So, when is your break?" He asked and Taehyung shrugged.

"It's Monday so there's literally no one but old ladies... I'll take a break when I want to." He said. "Which is now, sit down, I'm going to make something to drink."

Jungkook sat down on one of the cute chairs close to the window and stared outside. He saw people in shorts and tees happily walking around in the heat. He missed the warm summer feeling, even though he hated too much heat. Warmth somehow reminded him of home, which was something he longed to ever since he arrived in Queens.

The redhead got cut out of his thoughts by Taehyung placing a plate with cookies and two glasses of milk on the table. The older sat down but got up again in a matter of a second, screaming.

Jungkook looked at him in panic. "What's wrong?!" He yelled. All the people in the bakery, which were indeed just grandmas and one little kid, were already turned around to the scene.

"My ass hurts from your eyes burning holes in it!" Taehyung yelled dramatically and Jungkook's face turned blank. He kept his head still as he let his eyes wander around the store, seeing all old ladies with disgusted looks on their faces and the one with the kid covering their ears.

Jungkook groaned and looked down at the table, making Taehyung break and laugh hysterically. "Oh my god, your face!" He yelled as he clutched his stomach.

"You're so getting it when we get home."

-

"No, we're not going home yet." Taehyung quickly said as he saw Jungkook starting to walk in that direction. The redhead turned around and cocked his head. "We're going grocery shopping, my dude."

"It's Monday, you can't just say my dude," Jungkook complained and Taehyung chuckled.

"So, you have a sickness that causes you memory loss but you remember vines?" He asked, making Jungkook raise his shoulders.

"What can I say other than iconic?" He asked, smiling. "So, what is grocery shopping?"

"Oh my god..."

-

"It's going to eat me!" Jungkook yelled, running away from one of the store's cleaning machines. The man on the machine looked at him weirdly and Taehyung face palmed himself.

"Jungkook, you're literally a grown man." He said rubbing his hands over his eyes. Jungkook hid behind Taehyung and put his hands on the older's shoulders.

"Why is it making that noise?!" Jungkook asked, panicking and Taehyung turned around, making the smaller's hands fall off of his shoulders. He took hold of them and looked at the smaller boy.

"Look, Jungkook. If I don't find something odd, it isn't. Don't freak out if I don't." Taehyung told the smaller boy who nodded. "Good, now you go stand in line while I get the last things."

Jungkook gave the older a slightly confused look but nodded anyway, turning around to go look for the 'line'.

Taehyung trusted Jungkook to be able to do such an easy thing so he walked off to get what he wanted to. He was walking his way through the aisle, until he heard a scream, clearly Jungkook's voice.

The blue boy quickly ran over to the cash register and saw the redhead laying on the ground, a small circle of confused looking people around him.

"Excuse- me." Taehyung said as he pushed some people away. "Jungkook!"

The smaller one quickly looked up at the sound of Taehyung's voice. "You're here! Thank god, this thingy started rolling and stuff and I was leaning on it and then I fell and all these people are scary!"

Jungkook looked genuinely scared and Taehyung felt bad for him, forgetting about such small things so fast must be pretty terrible. Especially when you're alone.

"C'mon Kook, let's get out of here." The blue boy said and Jungkook quickly nodded, getting up and immediately clinging onto Taehyung's arm.

The older quickly paid for their stuff and took Jungkook's hand in his, the other holding a bag with groceries.

They walked a while in silence until Jungkook started coughing out of nowhere. It may not seem like a big deal, just a coughing fit, but Taehyung got worried anyway. What if Jungkook had gotten sick? Was it dangerous for the redhead to be sick with the sickness he already had?

"Are you alright, Kook?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook sheepishly smiled at him, nodding. "Are you sure?"

The smaller nodded again, trying not to show the obvious truth. Taehyung looked at him with narrowed eyes only to see Jungkook silently couching inside his mouth.

"You're getting sick!" Taehyung said, worried and a little frustrated. Jungkook dropped the fake smile, looking down and shrugging. "Please be honest with me, are you alright?"

The younger shook his head. "I think I caught a cold." He admitted and Taehyung's face softened. Jungkook coughed again which was Taehyung's sign to go inside quickly.

He took Jungkook's hand and started fast walking home.
