My Pov

After a few more hours I finally made it to Cerulean City. I pedaled around trying to find the Gym, remembering what it looked like in the anime. Soon, I found it.

"Well, Lovie. This is the Cerulean Gym. If we win against the Gym Leader, we'll earn a Cascade Badge." I said. Lovie's tail started to wag.

"Vui!" she chirped. I dismounted off my bike and Lovie hopped out of the basket. We walked into the Gym and I was amazed. There was actual fish in the tanks, like Angelfish, starfish and others. I walked around marveling at the aquarium before I accidently bumped into someone.

"Ouch!" a voice yelped. I stumbled back and saw I had bumped into Violet. Lily and Daisy were next to her. "Like, totally rude."

"I'm really sorry! I was so absorbed into how beautiful the aquarium was, I didn't pay attention. Completely my bad." I said.

"Well, I guess that's understandable. Our aquarium is one of the best in the world." Lily said.

"Obviously." Violet said.

"Like totally." Daisy added. The three sisters then started giggling in a way both me and Lovie got weirded out.

"So, what are you doing here?" Daisy asked.

"I was hoping to earn a Cascade Badge." I said. All three of them got these tired looks. I bet they didn't have any Pokémon left but Daisy's Goldeen.

"Sorry to break it to you, but we don't have any Pokémon left." Lily said. I knew it.

"We just got be like three times in a row from these Trainers from some nowhere town called Pallet." Violet said. Three? That means Ash hasn't gotten here yet. Maybe I'll run into him.

"Well, I can wait for a while. I'm in no hurry." I said.

"Say, what's your name?" Violet asked.

"Winnie." I answered.

"Well, Winnie. Do you like, have any Water Pokémon? Since you seem to really like our aquarium, you must have at least one, right?" Daisy asked.

"Actually I don't. The way I've traveled I haven't really be near any lakes or rivers and I don't have a Fishing Rod of any kind." I said.

"Wait here." Lily said. She left for a brief minute and then came back with a Fishing Rod! "Here. This is one of our spares. We don't use it and it's just like totally taking up space." I took the rod and examined it.

"Thank you!" I said. I looked down at Lovie. "Come on, Lovie! Let's go fishing!"

"Eievui!" Lovie exclaimed. I ran out of the Gym and went to the forest area that was nearby. Soon, I managed to find a river. After several hours, I managed to catch possibly ever Water Pokémon possible. The only one I decided to keep was my little Poliwag, Tad. I looked up Poliwag in my Pokédex.

"Poliwag, the Tadpole Pokémon. The spiral on its belly is its internal organs seen through its thin skin. It is better at swimming than walking." the Pokédex said. This was Gen I so Poliwag wouldn't evolve into Politoed until Gen II. I didn't want to have to wait that long, so if I came upon a Water Stone, Tad would become Poliwrath. I noticed it was starting to get dark so I headed by to Cerulean City to sleep at the Pokémon Center. While I was there, so guy offer me a Magikarp for five hundred dollars. The poor thing looked sad and sick so I bought it and sent it to Professor Oak. Thanks to the fish, Zippy and Dot got in some extra training. I turned in for the night.

Next Morning

I got out of bed and decided to introduce Tad to everyone. Tad was a little scared, but everyone gave him a warm welcome to the team. I decide to go back to the Gym. Maybe the girls got some of their Pokémon back. I went through the Gym, looking for Lily, Violet or Daisy but couldn't find either of them. That's when I heard loud voices coming from the pool area. I went there and saw not only the sisters, but Ash and Misty too! Daisy spotted me.
