My Pov

"Vui vui!" Lovie exclaimed as the wind blew through her fur. We were heading to Cinnabar Island and the feeling of the wind going through my air felt amazing. Lapi seemed to be enjoying herself too, being able to swim instead of being cooped up in her PokéBall. I was taking in the sights when I spotted an island. Did we already reach Cinnabar? I thought for a minute and then remembered that was the Seafoam Islands.

"Lapi, do you want to take a little rest?" I asked. We had been surfing for about an hour or two, so I wasn't sure if Lapi needed a breather.

"La..." she cooed, nodding. So I steered her toward the island. As she glided onto the sand, I hopped off. I returned her to her PokéBall and Lovie jumped into my arms. I decided that while I was here, I'd restock on supplies and do some sightseeing. After a few hours of shopping and taking a lunch break, I figured that we could start heading to Cinnabar.

"Vui?" Lovie squeaked. I looked down and saw she was looking toward a mountain formation. That's when I remembered- Articuno would sometimes reside on the Seafoam Islands. I wonder if it was here? Well, personally, I didn't want to find out as I don't know if Fireball or Zippy could take on the Titan of Ice. However, before I could think anymore on the subject, Lovie ran toward mountain area.

"Lovie, wait!" I yelled, but she didn't stop. I hurried after. Man, she either really determined or I've raised her stamina too much if she can run without taking a breath. Lovie then ran into a cave. Dang it. I can't run after her like this. I slid my bag off and took my bike out. I quickly unfolded it and rode in after Lovie. It didn't take me long to catch up with her. I quickly pedaled and then shifted my bike to where I blocked her path. She skirted to a stop and looked up at me. "Lovie, what is it? Why did you run ahead of me and into a cave?"

Vui vui vui!" Lovie exclaimed, jumping up and down. She hopped in the basket and pointed forward. I didn't like the idea of going too far into the cave as I didn't want to chance running into Articuno, but Lovie wasn't budging on this. So, after resigning myself to my fate, I pedaled deeper into the cave. Soon, it started to get really cold. Articuno had to be nearby. Along the way, I managed to catch some of the water Pokémon I was missing. I finally made it to what looked like then end, but nothing was here.

"Well, I guess we can-" I started, but I was cut off by a small cry.

"Squirtttt..." I looked and saw a Squirtle! The poor thing looked injured and exhausted, trying to push itself along the icy floor. I got off my bike and, carefully made my way or to the Squirtle. I knelt down in front of the Squirtle and it stopped. It looked up at me with half-open eyes. That's when I noticed the frost on its shell. I slid off my bag and got out an Ice Heal and Super Potion. I sprayed the Ice Heal first and then the Super Potion. Squirtle seemed to perk up a little bit.

COOOOOO!

Me, Lovie and the Squirtle all jumped at the loud call echoing through the cave.

"Squirtle! Squirtle!" Squirtle cried, jumping into my arms and sinking into its shell. Lovie jumped out the basket and stood in front of me.

"Vee...!" Lovie hissed. I noticed her fur sticking up slightly. That's when a powerful, chilling wind circled around us. I don't think I've ever felt this cold in my life. The wind died down and there, hovering over us, was the Ice Titan; Articuno. I pointed my Pokédex at it.

"Articuno, the Freeze Pokémon. A legendary bird Pokémon with long and distinctive tail feathers. Said to appear if you are freezing on a snowy mountain." the Pokédex said. I think it was angry that someone was inside of its home.

"Eievui! Vee vee!" Lovie called. That's when I heard the sound of PokéBalls opening. Two streams of light appeared in front of me. They faded to reveal Zippy and Fireball.

"Rai!" Zippy exclaimed.

"Flare!" Fireball exclaimed.

"COOOO!" Articuno cried, letting loose a powerful Ice Beam.

"Zippy, Thunderbolt! Fireball, Flamethrower! Lovie, Swift!" I yelled. All three of them sent out their respective attacks and it collided with the Ice Beam. The power of the three attacks seemed equal to that of Articuno's Ice Beam and it caused a big explosion that shook the whole cave. I felt Squirtle's whole shell shaking. Poor thing must have accidently angered Articuno or something.

"COOOO!" Articuno cried out.

"Zippy, Agility! Lovie, Fireball, Quick Attack!" I said. Zippy quickly maneuvered around Articuno while Fireball and Lovie zipped around Articuno, ramming into it occasionally. "Lovie, distract Articuno! Zippy, Fireball, get above it!" Lovie kept Articuno attention on her, while Zippy and Fireball ran up the side of cave walls to get at a good angle. They both then pushed off of the wall and were right above Articuno. "Thunderbolt! Flamethrower!"

"Rai!" Zippy cried, letting loose a Thunderbolt.

"Flare!" Fireball cried, letting loose a Flamethrower. The attacks combined and hit Articuno's back.

"COOOO!" it cried, falling to the ground. Lovie, Zippy and Fireball jumped back to me. Articuno struggled to stand, but collapsed. I felt bad, as this poor thing probably thought I was trying to hurt and I had. I placed Squirtle down, slid my bag off my shoulder and pulled out a Hyper Potion and Burn Heal. I slowly and carefully walked over to Articuno.

"I'm just going to spray this on your wound. It might sting a little." I said. I first sprayed the Burn Heal and then the Hyper Potion. The injury was faded and Articuno stood. "I'm really sorry that we trespassed into your home and attacked you." I bowed my head. Articuno looked at me. I carefully made eye-contact as I raised my head. Articuno then nodded, opened its wings and let out a loud cry. Cold air and snow circled around the cave like raging storm. When it finally settled, Articuno had disappeared.

"Squirt..." I looked and saw Squirtle poking its head out of its shell.

"It's okay. Articuno left." I said. Squirtle then came fully out of its shell and crawled over to me. I picked it up. "Say, do you want to come with me?"

"Squirt?" Squirtle asked, looking at me.

"I don't know what your story is, but I can tell you that with me, you'll have a LOT of friends to play with and you won't have to worry about being cold or hungry." I said.

"Squirtle!" it exclaimed. I dug through my bag and pulled out a Great Ball. I tapped Squirtle with it and it went inside the ball. The ball wiggled three times and the light went out. The ball then glowed and then disappeared. I then looked to each of my Pokémon.

"All right. Let's get going." I said. I returned Zippy and Fireball and picked up Lovie. I sat my bike up, put Lovie in the basket and pedaled out of the cave. I hurried to the nearby Pokémon Center and got everyone healed and then continued toward Cinnabar Island.

As for the bike, it says in pretty much all game descriptions that it's collapsible/foldable. So, that is how the bike fits in your bag.
