Matt's POV

"You were kinda cute last night," I smirked, I knew this would annoy her. She smiled but raised an eyebrow. "Don't you remember?" I raised an eyebrow back. I wanted to see if she remembered anything from last night, like hug me and grab my hand. To see if she knew she was doing it.

"No, what did I do?" She asked. So she wasn't aware of it. Sleep talking...

"Oh, it doesn't matter, don't worry about it, I was just kidding around," I laughed and scratched the back of my neck looking down. Wait, was that blush I felt on my cheeks?!

"You're lying," she said. I looked up at her again and she was looking at me tauntingly. "When you lie, you scratch the back of your neck and look down." Damn how did she- "and before you ask, a game Game Theory talked about taught me to be a walking lie detector." Well then.

"You were sleep talking, don't even worry about it."

"I SLEEP TALK?!" She cried.

"Haha yeah," I trolled. Now I had the upper hand.

"Tell meeeeehhhh" she begged.

"All you did was, as I was leaving, you grabbed my hand and asked me to stay," I replied. Ok, this is defiantly blush. But I wasn't the only one with red cheeks. As the words came out of my mouth she began to blush too. After a few seconds of not awkward silence, we realised at the same time that was were just sitting on her bed together. And....

"Shit," I said.

"What's up?" she asked.

"Mello. I told him I was going to the toilet last night and I still haven't gotten back, he's gonna kill me," she looked at me and tugged on her collar. Good representation of what I was feeling.

"Now that I think about it, I haven't actually talked to him yet..."

"I recommend you don't."

"Why?"

"Remember the test we had a while back?"

"Yeah..."

"You scored higher than him. It was one of the days you didn't go to lunch." Yeah, that's the best and most dangerous way to piss off my friend Mello.

"Well, shit..." She said. "Can I call that beginners luck or is that too far-fetched?"

"Maybe a little far fetched."

"How on earth did I pull that off..."

"I said it was far fetched but not impossible," I smirked.

"True, if I do it again I'll start to worry otherwise: beginners luck." I nodded in agreement. Not to say she was dumb and could never beat Near or Mello, I knew she had it in her, but she doesn't need to worry about that now. "Do you wanna hibernate here for a while today 'till lunch?"

"Sounds like a plan."
