Friends with benefits?

Kiara's POV

Well this escalated quickly, I'm not complaining.

"Kie- fuck kie stop or I'm gonna-" his hands are in my hair holding my head in place despite telling me to stop.
I didn't stop.
He looks down at me and our eyes lock, i still don't stop. I don't look away, this sends him over the edge
"Kkiaraa" he groans dropping his head back against the sand. he tries to steady his breathing, coming down from his high, never has my name sounded so fucking hot. JJ never calls me Kiara unless we are arguing or in a life or death situation or apparently doing this. The thought sent shivers through my whole body.

"Hi" I say shyly laying down next to him in the sand looking away as he shuffles his hands back on.
"Sup" I roll my eyes and lightly punch his arm

"You didn't have to..do that ya know" he says quietly. I can't be sure but his cheeks look slightly pink in the moonlight

"I don't do anything I don't wanna do jayj you should know that by now" he smiles and nods silently

"we should head back" I add. He doesn't say anything but he stands and offers me his hand, I take it.

The walk back is only slightly awkward mainly because jj is so quiet that I can't help but think he's holding back from saying something. Turns out I was right because just before we reach our camp he stops me, touching my arm.

"Kie... that was amazing" he looks down blushing again "but I feel kind of bad, I mean that only 'defused' my uh...tension"

he uses air quotes with the word 'defused' and I can't help but giggle out loud

"It's okay j..you can always make it up to me next time" i say quietly biting my lip hoping he also wants whatever this thing is to continue.

"What're you saying here kie?"

"Honestly I don't really know" I laugh because it's true I don't know what I'm saying or what we are but I know I don't want it to stop.

"Maybe- maybe we could make a deal.." jj starts slowly

"A deal?" I raise an eyebrow

"Yeah while we are here on this island we could ... defuse each other's tension if you will" he smirks but looks nervous to hear my reply
I burst out laughing because he makes it sound so stupid

"you want to be friends with benefits?" I ask
smirking back at him

"Isn't that kind of what you implied by saying there would be a repeat of tonight?" He does have a point I guess, I did do that.

"True.. okay I'm down but we need rules!" I say

"Sex needs rules?"

"Yes JJ when two best friends are having sex there definitely has to be rules" I roll my eyes. Has he never seen a friends with benefits movie before?

"Okay fine what are the rules?" Jj asked
innocently

"We can't let anybody find out" I start

" John b and Sarah know something is up" says jj

"Yeah they know we've kissed and that's all they will know"

I'm lying i also told Sarah that I might feel something for jj something more than a friend but jj doesn't need to know that.

"Yes ma'am, what else?" He asks

"No falling in love" I say in a smaller voice
jj visibly swallows and avoids my eyes.. weird.
I expect him to make some smart joke about that one.

"Continue" he waits

"And it ends as soon as we are rescued from this island... I think thats all I've got" I shrug
He puts his hand out and takes mine to shake "deal" he whispers but instead of shaking my hand him pulls me into a soft kiss. Oh.

Crap. What have I gotten myself into?
