"THROW THE IMPOSTER to the Unagi!" The old man demanded. He didn't even think once or consider that Aang was telling the truth. Serafina wasn't sure why being the avatar was so important, but clearly it meant something here. Aang meant something here. It seemed that everyone knew about Aang, or rather 'the avatar.' He seemed famous to say the least, which was just Sera's luck with who this world threw her at once it snatched her from her home.

Several of the warriors began advancing on them, and Sera became restless. She looked wide eyed at Aang. Katara seemed calmer, but with the knowing sense of urgency, she whispered an idea to the small boy. "Aang, do some airbending." She had a slight sing-song voice, which made Serafina wonder how serious they were taking these situations. She even bared the thought that they encountered these situations often, which was unearthly to her.

Aang suddenly airbended so aggressively upward that his ropes broke. Serafina was still bounded by them, including the siblings the other side of the pole they were tied to. She pursed her lips and bit the tip of her tongue to keep a calm. The rope itched at her skin, causing the area to turn a bit red.

Aang's childish voice brought her back to the present. "Now, check this out!" He shrieked with enthusiasm. He shamelessly showed off to the strangers, making the two marbles spin in his hand like he did when they traveled the sky with Appa. The people of the island gasped, giving sounds of awe. Giving Aang the exact attention he wanted. Serafina wasn't exacting against it, if it made sure they were all alive and not getting eaten by a giant water monster; the Unagi.

Apparently, it worked. They let the four out of their bounds, and welcomed them to a guest house to stay in. Serafina said nothing to the warrior that untied her, and inched closer towards the group to keep her distance from them.

It was weird, how differently the houses were from home, in Serafina's opinion. They weren't totally different, but then again, there wasn't any electricity. Which is definitely something to get used to.

As Serafina finally had a warm room to stay after days, she relaxed. She peeled off the same outfit she'd been wearing for so long, and the coat that she suspected was Sokka's (she'd stolen it in the tent). She never really slept without clothes on, but she needed a break after these tiring days in a new, strange world she'd been taken to. She put them back on after a few. Maybe she should talk to Katara about a change of clothes soon.

Sera laid in the near-flat mattress, not fully laying down. It was like laying on a blanket. This world was so different than she expected, it was exhausting. She missed her large comfortable bed. She missed the way the covers felt in the mornings before school. Resting her head in her hands, she leaned against the wall and let out a long breath. The moon shone into her room through the window, giving her as little light as possible. She tried to lessen the tightness in her shoulders, running her hands over her face.

She'd never stayed on an island before. And it seemed to be just her luck that the very first time she got to see the beauty of the beach, and of an island itself, was when she was stranded somewhere that was completely different than home. Somewhere so different, in fact, that she wasn't sure whether these people were pulling a world-class prank on her and didn't know when to stop.

The night was long. A bit antagonizing, really. She laid in silence for a good four to five hours, waiting for unconsciousness to take over, but it never really did. She was sure the other three were asleep by now, and she wasn't really sure why they even 'took her in' anyways. She thought back on what their grandma said, that being with Aang and Katara and Sokka was her destiny. Yeah, because being eaten by an otherworldly creature that lurks beneath the surface of the water was her destiny. Like hell it was.
