I arrive at the hotel with my card key in one hand and the  gun in the other as I slide the key and kick open the door as I look around. I walk towards the bathroom and notice the whole room is clear and I put my gun back into my hip holster. I run my hands through my knotted hair and I sigh loudly. I just I can get a shower and then head back to HQ, but I need to call them real fast. I see Eli's bag lying on the floor and I groan loudly at the crap I'll get for letting another partner get turned.

You think they would realize by now that the newbies can hardly handle pulling the trigger. I turn the shower on and I set my gun next on the counter as I walk back into the main room. I grab a change of clothes as I leave the bathroom door open. Can't take any chances, if Eli is awake who knows what information he will tell them. They could very well know I'm here and I wouldn't know.

I jump into the shower and let the warm water wash down the dirt and grime covering my body. I grab the little shampoo bottle and wash my hair as I enjoy the burning hot water. I suppress a yawn as I grow tired from this day. I hear my stomach growl and rumble and I ignore it as I continue to clean myself.

I wrap a white towel around my body, and dry off quickly before I pull out my stack of new clothes. I pull on the semi see through leggings around the thighs and the long white shirt that goes past my butt. I dry my hair with the towel causing it to frizz up. I brush it out with my fingers and pull it into a high ponytail. I throw the towel on the ground and gather my nasty grimy clothes in my arms as I dump them inside the black duffel bag I brought.

I dig through the clothes and find some socks as I put on my black combat boots. I pick up my bag and Eli's as I set them over my shoulder, I walk back towards the shower and pick up my gun. "Crap." I yell realize I forgot to put on my hip holster. I set the bags back down as I dig through my supplies and I find a thigh holster but I can't seem to find the hip one. I zip back up my bag and pull on the holster and set my loaded gun inside.

I look around the room once more making sure I have everything before I walk back outside watching my surroundings closely. I look into the woods as I unlock the car and throw the bags inside. I see nothing; I listen closely but still nothing. I close the door and start up the car and put on some dubstep as I head back home. Four hours. I got to stay awake for four hours. I pull out my phone and I call up HQ. "Headed home. Next time don't send me out with idiots, clearly they need more basic training. Making a detour at the first place I can eat something. See you soon Asher." I say closing the call as I watch the trees fly by.

I pull up into a McDonald's as I pull out a debit card in my bag. I leave my gun inside as I slip a silver knife into my boots that I leave in the glove box. I set the gun inside as I close the box and walk inside the building. "Two hamburgers, two French fries and a drink would be lovely." I say before she has a time to answer as I slip her my debit card. "To-go or here?" She asks frantic. "To-go." I say as she nods her head and runs my card through.

I grab the bag in my hand as I look at the sun rising over the horizon and realize I have only 40 minutes till I arrive home. I rip into the bag as soon as I get inside the car as I hit the road once again. I demolish it all in less than 15 minutes causing my stomach to become full and for me to become happy once more.

I eventually arrive at HQ once again as I watch people stop training as they watch me drive inside the gates. I grab the bags and walk outside of the car, gun resting on my thigh and McDonald's trash in my hands. I lock the door with my other hand as I walk towards the front door. "Welcome back Estrella. Where's Eli?!" Lily asks looking around. "Changed." I say as I hear her gasp as I'm about to open the door before Asher opens it for me. "You're back!" He exclaims as he smiles at me. "Mhm." I nod my head ready for needed sleep and my warm bed.

"I'll need an update on what happened when you wake up." He says knowing my usually schedule of what I do when I get home. "I'm sorry about Eli." He says near a whisper. "Stop sending me out with the new ones. If you wanted me to die then you should've just told me. Every time you send me with the trainees they all die. As the top Hunter I shouldn't have to be worried about whether my partner will die or not. You put me into a higher risk with a moron rather than me on a mission." I call out as his eyes widen.

"He was the last one I promise." He says as I nod my head. "I'll be up later then we can talk until then I need some sleep. Night." I say pushing past him and inside the mansion as people on the couches watch me enter and I give a short wave before I trudge upstairs with my bags in hand. I enter my room throw the bags by the door. I take my weapons and set them on my side table as I jump into bed with my shoes on and instantly let sleep overcome me.
