"Stop screaming." He snaps at me as I narrow my eyes and watch his moves closely. "You killed him!" I scream at him once more. "Well he does have vampiric blood in his veins; he will wake up and be ok." He says causally. "You turned him? Why?" I lower my voice as I take in my surroundings. I need to find an escape, and soon or I will be next. These two goons are on me and I can't seem to shake them. "Because he clearly wasn't cut out for your lifestyle." "Doesn't mean you can do that demon." I spit out darkly.

"First off I can, second off demon really? Hun I'm a vampire, and my name is Cyprian." He tells me. "K Cyprian as much as I love being squished on the floor, let me go." I say as I begin to fidget. "Now I can't do that. You're coming with me." He says as I see his goons gather Eli's body and walk out of the diner.

I take this moment as his distraction then I slam my knee into the man on top of me as he grabs his stomach and I use my strength to push them both off of me and I run through the front door. I continue to run as fast as I can until I find myself in the woods with no weapons. I spin around and take the forest sounds looking for that familiar snapping sound of a vampire.

I pull out my phone and contact HQ to come get me; I just want to go back to my room and sleep. "Something has happened. Eli is changed and rouge. I need a pick up crew. And soon. I am located in Slen, CO. Give me a place." I say as I remember the place that they will come and get me. "You think we wouldn't find you Hunter? You are on pack lands." A deep voice calls from the woods and I groan super loud.

"Ok and?" I respond back as I don't care about this sort of species. "You are coming with me until we know your full intentions." He states as I just laugh. "You do realize that I'm not a Lycan Hunter? Can't you use your nose and smell the death of vampires on me? I don't kill your kind; I leave that to my friends." I laugh out.

"I smell the death but I smell something else on you that I can't quite describe and that threatens the whole system." He says as he steps from the trees to reveal his face. "I just kept around 10 vampires off your precious land, escaped the diner with a bucket load of vampires and you have the nerve to come scold me? If anything I should be getting praise for killing the thing you and I both hate the most." I say crossing my arms ignoring the growling in my stomach.

"Thank you. Do you need a ride back into town?" He asks. "Sure. That would be good. Could you drop me off at the diner? I need to grab something." I ask as I see his eyes flash gold. "Now why would you go back to the diner where a bunch of vampires are?" He asks angrily. "They're gone now. None came after me so I would assume they have left." I say narrowing my eyes back at him. "Ok then let's go." He says as he starts walking through the forest. This is why I don't shoot wolves; their emotions are all over the place. While on the other hand vampires just have one emotion, which would be killing.

We arrive to a white SUV as he opens the passenger door for me and I hop inside. I smell the stench of sweat throughout the car and I turn up my nose as he looks at me in question as he gets in. "What?" He asks. "Have you ever thought of buying hmm I don't know an air freshener?" I question him as he just laughs. "Pretty funny for a Hunter." He mentions under his breath.

We arrive at the diner in silence as I listen for any sounds of breathing, I don't hear any. "We're safe." I say getting out of the car and walking to my black car. I find the car keys dropped on the passenger side and I pick the keys up and pop the truck to find my huge black box untouched. I open the lock pad with my code and see all my weapons and I sigh in relive as I hear the wolf walk closer.

I pick up the gun and turn the safety off as I spin around pointing the gun at him. "Woah, chill." He calls out as he puts his arms in the air and his eyes go wide. "I won't kill you; wooden bullets wouldn't have that much effect on you anyway. Thanks for the ride and all but I need to go." I tell him as I lower the gun. "You're welcome. Will I see you again?" He asks. "Haha no, one time mission unless vampires come back to this location. See you around wolf." I say ask hear him sigh. "It's Austin." "See you later Austin." I call back as I get inside my car, close the door and drive off towards my hotel.
