I watch as the vampires swarm into the building as I sit on the tree. I hide my body in the thick leaves of the tree as I see my friends watching closely. I aim my gun resting on the tree branch evening out my breaths as I aim it towards the leader of the group as his vampire flank his sides. I look over at my friend Eli, he nods his head and I nod mine. I narrow my eyes and shoot the leader of the group as he falls to the ground and turns to ashes as the wooded bullet pierces his black heart.

I hear slight screams as Eli sends rounds of bullets into their flesh as they slowly begin to fall and crumple. I see the two that were flanking the now pile of ash on the ground looking up in my direction and narrow their eyes. I hear the hisses of the now pissed off vampires as they come closer to the tree. I still my body as they come closer cocking their heads to the side to pick up on a sign of breath.

I hear Eli shoot as I hear the two vampires below me crumple and hit the ground with a loud thump. I let out the breath I was holding and mouth to him thanks. He nods his head once more before he looks to the direction we came and I nod my head now knowing our targets are dead. I climb down the tree as I hear the crunch of the leaves below me when I land. I hear Eli land as I look at the piles of ash now covering the ground in front of us. "You ok?" He asks as I watch his brown eyes sparkle with amusement.

"Peachy." I respond biting back my tongue. "Not trigger happy tonight?" "Clearly not. Now stop trying to make a conversation, we may have been on the same mission but that doesn't require or earn my friendship." I snap back. "I-" He attempts before I cut him off again.

"You missed one." I say pulling out my gun and listening to the sound of the last vampire. I hear a light snap and I turn my head and I see red eyes looming through the trees, I send bullets flying that way. I notice Eli is on high alert with his gun out as well watching the woods carefully. I hear a hiss and I know that I've hit the last remaining vampire.

"Rule one. Count the vampires." I murmur under my breath just loud enough for him to hear. We walk silently through the forest well at least I was, Eli over there is stepping on land mines he's so loud. I groan and I earn a look from him as he turns his head around to glare at me. "What?" He asks quietly. "Why did they send you on this mission? You can't even walk quiet." I say softly. "Because this was a mission to prove myself, that I can handle situations like these. I don't walk loud." He mutters.

"How many bullets do you have left?" I ask as he pulls out his gun and looks. "Two." He says slightly confused. "And how many vampires were there?" I ask calmly. "Didn't HQ say there were 10?" "Yes, now didn't we come with 30 bullets?" "Ok I don't understand the point of this Estrella." He says pretty pissed off. "You went bullet crazy and used more bullets then what was necessary." I say as I hear him groan under his breath.

"Leave me alone." He tells me. "Then don't act so high and mighty, this was more of an HQ evaluation then you proving yourself. You didn't pass." I whisper as I hear a twig being cracked in the distance. "Shut up!" He screams and I shake my head. "And now he knows where we are, smooth." I whisper as I pull out my gun and look out into the woods. "What?" Eli asks frantic looking all over the woods. "We have company." I tell him as I feel eyes staring at me to the right and I whip around to that direction.

"Mmm dinner." The vampires hisses out as he vanishes from his current spot to another location towards my left. I whip my gun around and shoot him in his leg causing him to fall. I hear him yell out and I walk closer to finish him off with a terrified Eli behind me. "Estrella." Eli whispers as I ignore him completely. "Eli go to the car." I say as I watch the vampire listen to our conversation. "Ok." He sighs and leaves the site. "Estrella, such a pretty name. Omg you can't be." He whispers to himself. "Can't be what vampire?" I spit out.

"Have you heard of Dracula?" He asks scanning my face. "Yeah he's dead, and so are you." I say pulling the gun up and shooting him straight into the heart. "He's your f-." He attempts to say before he falls to ash. "Hmph." I mutter before I pull out my phone and contact HQ. They pick up after the third ring. "Mission completed. Eli Owen has failed. Heading back now." I say as I hear a good job muttered back to me before I hang up.
