"Who's Sarah?" I ask as Sela smirks. "She was a youn-" "Sela don't you have a human to drink? Or a party to host or something?" Sterling says annoyed. "She's fine." I say defending the blonde. "Sterling is right, I should go. Nice meeting you Estrella." She says as she nods her head and walks off. "Seriously Sterling?" I say turning around and watching him as he only takes a sip of his drink. "What? She's annoying." He just says casually.

"Lighten up. I don't know why your being a jerk but drop the act or I will have to stake you. Tempting enough to do it now." I say storming off the dancing crowd. I see a bunch of cute humans leaning on the wall and I walk over to them. "Hey boys." I say flipping my hair as I feel Sterling's eyes burning into my skull. "Hey." They all say as I notice the middle one, who seems to be the leader walk forward. "Lets dance, Mark hold this." He says handing his drink off as he pulls me to the dance floor.

"How is it that I have never seen you before? Are you new here? Because you are too pretty to not remember." He says confident. "I suppose I am." I say as I grind my body on him as I look in the direction of the kitchen where Sterling lifts his cup and drowns all the liquid inside. I smirk at him before I turn around and kiss this human boy hearing a loud hiss in the kitchen. "Wanna go somewhere more private?" He whispers in my ear as I nod my head before he grabs my wrist and pulls me away from the living room.

"I'm gonna go freshen up, is that okay?" He asks as I nod my head as he leaves to the bathroom. I lift myself off the bed and over to the window which gives me a view of the back of the house and I smile as my plan sets into motion. I open the window hearing him finish up in the bathroom and the dance floor music blaring below.

I crack open the widow and sit on the window seal as I look at the two story height difference and I pray before I jump and land softly on the ground as my ankle hurts slightly. I take this as my chance and I run, I kick off my heels and I turn on my speed as I run through the thick dark forest. Where I'm going, I don't know. All I do know is I can't stay there anymore.

I run and run until I stop and catch a breath, I notice I'm completely lost and it's only getting darker. I hear a light snap and I groan as I know something is out there watching me. I bend down and break off a branch as I notice my torn dress and dirt lining my legs and arms. My ankle is aching as I shift my weight to my other foot. I feel my cuts stinging with the sweat running down my legs.

"Did you really think you could get away Estrelaaa?" He adds on. "Like did you not suspect I would hear you hit the ground? Are you that stupid?" He asks as he steps out behind the trees with ablaze blue eyes.

"I don't belong here. I kill you for a living, my life is to kill. You drag me to a castle with a household of vampires, why? I don't care if Dracula is my god damn father, I can't live there under the same roof with any of you. I was raised to destroy you, that's all I have ever known.

"But no I'm more than Estrella the best Hunter. Do you know how much it pains me to know I'm the thing I kill for a living? I'm a fucking vampire disguised as a human. Do you know how that makes me feel? I feel like crap knowing everyday I wake up to knowing I'm the thing I kill! I'm a monster." I yell at him throwing my hands in the air as tears stream down my face.

"Estrella." He whispers showing me his soft side. "What!?" I yell at him as he pulls me into a hug. He pulls my chin up whipping a few of my tears away as he stares into my eyes. "Calm Down." He says compelling me as I feel to weak to avoid it. My sobs calm down as he just holds me there. "Lets go home, we'll figure this out later." He says pulling my wrist as I just sit down on the cold forest floor as he sighs.

I continue the silent tears as he squats down and picks me up into his arms. I don't even bother fighting him back. I have become weak, I can't even call myself a Hunter if I'm more vampire than I will ever be human. "I'm weak, I can't even call myself a Hunter anymore." I whisper. "You know that's ok. I never liked Hunters anyway. This makes things so much easier now, I don't have to worry about you carrying a stake to dinner with me." He says a light smile forms on my face.
