Arisu had a rifle over his shoulder with Usagi following close behind him. Kagami grinned at the sight of them, still holding onto the bottle of wine. It seemed they wouldn't be waiting for them to show up anymore. All that was missing was Kuina."Hey!" Chishiya called out to the pair as he and Kagami approached them. "Fancy meeting you here." He called out as Arisu and Usagi looked at them.
"Chishiya... Kagami..." Arisu mused, looking between the pair for a moment. Everyone had stopped, but as soon as Usagi and Kagami locked eyes, the two women grinned at one another before they walked towards each other and embraced. That just left Chishiya and Arisu who watched each other carefully.
"There's only three more games left." Chishiya said to Arisu. Kagami looked to Chishiya who was making his way over to Arisu.
"Let's let them catch up." Kagami said lightly, looking back to Usagi who gave her a nod.
The two women walked away from Chishiya and Arisu who continued their conversation. It was nice to see Chishiya getting along with someone who wasn't Kagami. Usagi and Kagami didn't stop until they could no longer hear what the two men were saying before they both sat on the grass that was growing through the cobblestone. Kagami placed the bottle of wine down beside her.
"I'm glad you and Arisu are okay." Kagami smiled. "How are things going with Arisu?"
"I don't understand the question." Usagi replied sheepishly, her cheeks reddening at the question. Kagami raised an eyebrow at Usagi which just seemed to make her more flustered until she finally gave in and spoke once more. "Well, we did kiss." She confessed.
"I fucking knew it." Kagami smirked. "You two were so obviously going to end up together that it was painful to watch." She told her. "Anyway, you guys seen Kuina at all?" She then asked.
"Not since you both left after the King of Clubs game. Hopefully Kuina has found An. I'm glad you ended up finding Chishiya, he seems different." Usagi said and Kagami looked over her shoulder at the short man who was still talking to Arisu.
"Yeah, he played the King of Diamonds game against Kuzuryu and it seemed to really... soften him, I suppose." Kagami mused before she looked back at Usagi.
"You seem different too, Kagami." Usagi told her, causing Kagami to raise an eyebrow at her, "You don't seem as on edge and anxious... you actually seem like you're happy. Could that be because of Chishiya?" Usagi added with a teasing smile.
"Not just because of him. We've all been through so much playing the games. It only makes sense for us all to change." Kagami shrugged, "Everyone except Nir-" Her words came to a sudden stop as she heard the sound of the gunshot.
Kagami jumped to her feet and looked to Chishiya who was laying on the ground with blood staining the side of his jacket. The panic had started to set in and she tried to run towards him but only made it a few meters before another gunshot was fired, hitting the ground just in front of her.
"Don't fucking move, Namika or I'll blow your boyfriend's head off." The voice belonged to Niragi and the sound of it made Kagami close her eyes and take a deep breath. That was what she was waiting for. The thing that would destroy the happiness she had found. "I thought I'd never see you again. I am so fuckin' happy!" He said, causing Kagami to reopen her eyes and turn to face Niragi who was limping towards the four of them. His gun was aimed at Arisu, but his gaze was locked onto her. Much to Kagami's surprise, she noticed none other than Saiko trailing along behind him.
"Did you mean to miss a vital organ?" Chishiya called out. Kagami grinned, at least she knew he was okay.
"I didn't wanna end things with a surprise attack." Niragi explained, continuing to walk towards Arisu and Chishiya. Now that his attention was off of Kagami, she very slowly started to make her way towards Chishiya. "So, let's begin. It's a new murder game. It's not like there's anything else for the three of us guys to do... other than waste time with these women who just like to just string us along." Niragi looked back to Kagami and pointed the gun back at her. "What did I fucking tell you, Namika?"
