Everyone was standing still as they watched Daiki move closer towards the group. Kagami was standing closest to Daiki with Arisu standing directly to her right; Chishiya was two cars down from him; Niragi was significantly behind Kagami and still standing on top of the car and then finally Usagi and Saiko were still next to the car they were hiding behind to Kagami's left. They were situated in a large circle
"Well, that was just touching, Arisu." Daiki smirked, looking to Arisu who stared at him in disbelief. None of them expected to see Daiki outside of his game arena again. But, then again, this was a Daiki thing to do. "Sorry to ruin the party. But I wanted to hand out these invitations personally." He smiled, passing a sealed envelope to Kagami before he made his way around the circle, starting with Arisu.
"Invitations?" Arisu questioned. "None of the other games required invitations." He pointed out as he stared at the envelope in his hand.
"So?" Daiki asked. "I was told I could do whatever I wanted for my game. So, I'm doing whatever I want." He shrugged before he made his way towards Chishiya.
"You're Daiki Kagami, I take it?" Chishiya asked and Kagami realized that he and Saiko were the only ones who hadn't actually met her older brother.
"And you're Shuntaro Chishiya. Nami's new boyfriend. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you. I'll admit, you're an improvement from her ex... but, from what I've seen, you're selfish, jealous, close-minded to anything that goes against your opinion, think you're better than everyone and not to mention, have a few skeletons hiding in your closet and... somehow... you've won over my sister." He smirked, looking back at Kagami who watched them in silence. "Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt him." He grinned at her before he looked Chishiya up and down, handing him an envelope and made his way over to Niragi who had gotten off of the car.
"What are you doing here, Daiki?" Niragi snapped
"Suguru Niragi! How are you doing, bro? You know, I like you so much more now that your not draining the life out of my sister. I'll see you in my game. I have a little surprise just for you" He said, softly punching Niragi's arm and handing him an envelope. Kagami heard Niragi grumble as he took the invitation but otherwise said nothing.
Daiki then made his way over to Saiko and Usagi, handing them both invitations before making his way back towards where Kagami was standing. Daiki didn't even look at her as he continued to walk back down the road where he had appeared from.
"That's it? You have nothing else to say to me?" Kagami called after him, taking a few steps forward but stopping when Arisu moved to her side and stopped her.
"We need to stick together." He said seriously and Kagami realized that he had opened the envelope and had clearly read some kind of rule that instructed them to stay in a group.
"Daiki!" Kagami called out once more and this time, he stopped, but did not turn around to look at her.
"Relax, Nami." He said in a lazy tone. "There'll be plenty of time to catch up. I've made sure of it. Now, listen to Arisu and read your invitation. I'll see you soon." Daiki said and without another word, he continued on is way.
Kagami didn't stop watching her older brother walk away until he completely disappeared out of view. She felt Arisu place a hand on her shoulder and as she looked at him, his eyes flicked down to the invitation. Taking a deep breath, Kagami looked down to the invitation and turned to face the rest of the group that was reading theirs. Handing the bottle of wine to Arisu, she finally gave in and decided to open the invitation. The invitation was written in a mixture of typed text and Daiki's own hand writing which made Kagami assume that each invitation had its own personal touch to it.
