Kagami and Chishiya continued to look at the map. They both were frozen in silence as Kagami's question on which game to start with had been met with silence from Chishiya. The blonde man, who seemed to be deep in thought was drumming his fingers on the desk. After about ten more minutes, Chishiya sighed and looked to her,

"I have two plans." He began, "We either start with a King game so we can get some idea on what the hardest games look like or we start with a Jack game and work our way up." He said. "Physical games aren't my strong point so that rules them out and I would be lying if I said that the King of Diamonds game didn't intrigue me." He mused to himself as he ran his finger over where the King of Diamonds was marked on the map.

"So, we start with the King of Diamonds then?" She questioned and Chishiya paused for a moment before he shook his head.

"I don't think so. Seems risky, espeically if the other diamonds games are anything to go off of. What do you want to play?" He then asked and Kagami chuckled.

"Well, ideally none of them." She said, "But, I do like the idea of starting with a Kings game. Maybe the King of Clubs? Team games seem to be the easiest of all of them so long as you have a decent team. If we could find Arisu and the others I think we'd have a decent chance at winning." Kagami said and Chishiya nodded slowly.

Once again, silence fell upon the two and Kagami had a thought that made her stomach turn. What if the other games made her play against Chishiya rather than with him? More importantly, was Chishiya also thinking about that? It was part of the reason why Kagami had suggested a Clubs game.

As Kagami's eyes fell onto Chishiya's face, she noticed that his brow was furrowed. She wasn't used to seeing any other expression on Chishiya's face other than apathy or smugness.
Walking around the table, Kagami moved behind Chishiya and wrapped her arms around his waist before placing her chin on his shoulder,

"What's wrong?" She asked lightly, causing Chishiya to stiffen slightly.

"We need to get food for the night." He told her, turning around so her was facing her. Kagami kept her arms wrapped around him and welcomed the forehead kiss Chishiya gave her with a smile. "We can worry about which games to play tomorrow." Chishiya said, his eyes not meeting hers. Kagami examined his face carefully. There was something he wasn't telling her.

"Hey, what's going on?" She asked and this time Chishiya met her gaze. "Didn't you just tell me that honesty is important? Whatever's going on in your head you can talk to me about. I promise I'm a good listener." She smiled and Chishiya returned a small smile before he shifted out of her hold and walked away from her,

"I'm just thinking about the games. They're all going to be dangerous and it's more likely that we'll die than actually make it all the way to the end." He mused with his back turned to her. Kagami watched him carefully, there was more to it that he wasn't telling her.

"What happened to that confidence of yours with the King of Spades?" Kagami asked with a smirk. "And, you do realize that all the numbered cards were also death games. Nothing about our situation has changed." Chishiya took a deep breath before he smiled at her,

"Yeah, this place hasn't changed. But we have." Chishiya replied. "I don't want a weakness and you're becoming a weakness." He spoke in a soft tone that made Kagami shake her head at him.

"Where is this coming from? You're the one who made a point of making sure we stay together." Kagami said, leaning against the square table.

"I didn't think you had feelings for me back then." He replied and Kagami found that his response threw her off. She never expected a serious answer from him.
