Hey guys it's me again, thanks for being fans and all. So this story is going to be a little convoluted but it's based on the canon story line but several events in the story are different than the show. For starters, Pyrrha is alive again, she didn't die at the fall of Beacon but was saved by someone who wasn't Ruby. Beacon is recovering and is very close to being rebuilt but is still under repairs. The story is going to shift from Atlas to Vale every now and then. Unfortunately Penny was killed at Beacon but we all know how that turns out don't we? Penny and the Ace ops meet Ruby and the others earlier so this story takes place between vol 6-7 with a little bit of alterations between what Salems group does.
Roman Torchwick also survived so Neo isn't exactly out for blood right now but she still hates Ruby and her friends. Ozpin is still in his old body but Oscar's here too, don't ask how that makes sense I love them both and wanted them to be in this story so that's what I'm gonna do. Also a major thing to note, Yang knew Raven was her mother for a long time at this point and even though Summer is still scattered, she died at a much later time in the story just a few years before the Vale arc and not when Ruby and Yang were kids. Also I did some research in the fandom and the math checks out that Summer died when Ruby was 5 and Yang was 7. I honestly didn't know that until recently I kept thinking she died when Ruby was 2, I guess that's a mistake I made in the Bumblebee in the Rosegarden story but whatever am I right?
Because of my OC, a lot of things from the canon are being switched around and changed from the main story so be prepared for that. Also, since the story goes down a different path a lot of event either don't happen or they exist but come at the wrong time. Like since the mc interferes with some of the events, ironwood doesn't turn on them and they don't fall into the ever after. I originally had ideas for this story for a very long time before vol 9 came out but stopped writing to watch it and since it came out, I have more changes to the story than planned and new ideas for sequels in others now.
But I am a little upset because an idea I had for this fanfic ended up being used in the actual series and I feel like I was robbed of an idea but I'm just too slow to write stuff so that's a learning lesson
