Today was going to be your 4th attempt at escaping this palace that Douma kept you in.

You originally joined his cult for protection during the racism war that broke out not too long ago, no one would dare mess with him when it came to his reputation. After meeting him he quickly latched on to you referring to you as his 'chocolate cupcake' you were too sweet for him to eat, at first you thought he was joking until you found out his true nature.

His protection over you soon turned into a sick obsession, he used to just kill the people that came looking for you, asking to bring you harm which you didn't really care about, but now he's just starting to kill anyone who even mumbles your name including any friends that are worried about you.

He's relocated you a couple times, you're sure the town you're in now isn't even aware of your existence, you've been missing for 16 months now everyone probably thinks you're dead.

You're ready to come back from the grave now, this is too much.

Douma walks into the room, your cage was centered in the middle of the big room it was built like a dorm and had all the bare necessities

"Good morning my little cupcake" he sings upon opening your cage door wearing a big grin.

There was no ledge after the door so if you take another step you will fall down into the dark abyss, with objects and rooms passing by but honestly, anything seemed better than here

You took a deep breath brave and scared you closed your eyes before stepping out the door hoping to land on one of the floating rooms

"Y/N!!!" You hear Douma's voice frantically shouting for you as you took the leap, when you look back up you saw him jump freely without hesitation reaching for your body. You attempt to swat him away but he was already in control of the situation, he was stronger than you. He quickly grabbed your wrist pulling your arms down and locked himself around you into a hug as if protecting your body. Then he rotated quickly and landed after a couple of back flips holding you bridal style in his arms.
