Baby is soooo lonely omg he misses you like crazy you're his bae and he's doesn't have many friends due to his eccentric personality so he might be really sad but will count down the days and very last hour until you return. When you both see each other the hug hes giving you will be amazing, he will be lifting you up and letting you wrap your legs around his waist while you fill his head up with the I missed yous etc making him feel mushy.

He misses your smile and hearing your voice, during the day he would keep busy but at night or when he's alone towards the end of the day is when it would hit him the most. He'd call every evening only hoping to hear your voice even if it was just for a moment. When you return he's kissing you all over your face relishing the moment with his forehead to yours before actually hugging you tightly lifting you off the ground a little.

Similar to shidou once's there's a minor inconvenience in his day that you weren't there to handle is when he will process his feelings and realize he misses you. He will go back into his shell not really social and always on his phone or leaving class early due to boredom. He really only lingered around school most days so he could be sure to take you home everyday. He's going to start and finish a whole manga and anime series you aren't interested in to burn time. When you come back It's going to be a big hug with him lifting you off the ground, you ask for a piggy back ride and he will carry you and your bags while wearing a grin

He's going to move pretty silent but he will feel a strange emptiness deep inside of him that he hasn't felt since his brother left and though he knows you're only gone for a few weeks he can't help but have slight abandonment ptsd and distance himself, but you'll be nurturing and call once a day and that will be enough to silence the evil voices in his head. He will wait all night to see you if he has too when you hit town, once he sees your smiling face approaching he will sigh out seemingly relieved and will just hold you close and deeply into a hug for a couple of comforting minutes.
