You were in the presence of Muzan but your eyes wandered astray when you sensed Kokushibo had made his appearance known to you behind him in the darkness and you couldn't help but stare at him.
You focused your attention back to Muzan before he started questioning where your eyes have wondered off too.
"Yes master?" You respond softly.
Muzan had called a meeting for his top 3; Kokushibo, Akaza, and you. You assumed he had a new technique he wanted you to learn as you've already adapted to the rest he has handed to you easily, except Douma he always gave you the hardest time 💢
His hand reaches for you and he gently touches your cheek while staring deeply into your e/c eyes. You felt your face flush with heat from his sudden affection and your gaze softened, your expression blank from his cold touch he smiled softly.
"Good job on taking care of those slayers earlier today, now we can move freely tonight."
Word got out to the slayer corps that Muzan himself was spotted in the area so they sent a few lower ranked slayers to scope out the area before anyone stronger would appear. You scoured the town all day killing anyone that even mentioned the word demon. You didn't want them to report back any suspicious activity going on in the area but you also couldn't interfere with their investigation or else reinforcements would come. With one of your favorite breathing styles you are capable of hearing and seeing almost everything within a certain radius, only a few people met their demise to your blades end most were townsfolk rather than slayers.
