Every year Poseidon threw a spectacular party on the anniversary of his fathers death and every year at the party loads of eligible bachelorettes would line up and go hoping and praying this would be the year he would choose a wife and settle down. Unlike his brothers; Poseidon has yet to marry he rarely leaves his fortress so he doesn't run into opportunities to meet people often as well.

This was your first year attending the party that your older sisters bragged so loudly about being invited too. You are a goddess and also the youngest of your siblings though you seemed eager you knew like everyone else that he's never taken a wife.

Your sisters helped you pick a glamorous gown with a high slit with colors relatively close to your f/c iridescent sequin laced gown with a fancy updo you felt immaculate and ready to party. Even if you didn't catch Poseidon's eye you were hoping to catch someone's attention.

"Who is that woman?" Poseidon asked from his throne to his lead butler who was in charge of the guest list

"Mm, that's lady y/n from the L/n family. She is the youngest of the other 7 sisters I believe she just turned 21 so this is her first time attending your party."

"My... have the heavens blessed her with all the beauty and grace between her sisters..." he leans forward with his hand on his chin

"she shines among them like a diamond among coal..... have her father come introduce them" he waves dismissing his servant.

"Right away sir"

Shortly after your family's arrival to the party you're approached by a servant of the Poseidon household. He introduces himself as his head butler and that the king himself wishes to greet us as a family.

You father claps his hand together happily and shouts

"Wonderful!"

As your sisters giddy and squeak with excitement adjusting their straps, checking their make up and fixing their hair. You are eating but your mother pulls the plate from you and tells you to fix yourself and look presentable as well.

"Ugh" you scoff slightly annoyed not being able to finish your snack

When you all walk in a private room Poseidon was already sitting comfortably at a chair in the center of the room you felt his eyes glue to your skin immediately. You tried to shake it off as he wasn't just looking at you alone, but for some reason you could not shake off the feeling of his piercing blue eyes bearing into your soul.

"Good evening my king, I am lord L/n, F/n from the west region this is my beautiful wife M/n and these are my 8 beautiful daughters."

He goes down the list naming off all your sisters and paused before introducing you

"And last but certainly not least is my youngest, she's my baby girl ... Y/n"

Poseidon hasn't spoken once since you all entered the room until your father said your name.

"Y/n." He calls and you hold your head up slightly to acknowledge him

"Y/n come closer so I can see you." He says

You're hesitant and it is clear he is not a patient man as he shifted in his chair you got a pep in your step and quickly walked closer to him and stopped a couple of feet away.
