"Why did you come here with Logan?" he asked turning to face me as we walked towards his car.
"He asked me."
"But why?" he smiled.
"I don't know Harry," I blushed turning my eyes to hit the blacktop we traveled on towards his SUV.
"I know why," he smirked down at me as he hit the unlock button on his keys for his car.
I felt the butterflies in my stomach and all the blood race from my face. Harry basically was flirting with me right now...and I don't even know how to flirt back much less talk...
"Where are you going to take me?" I asked before he opened my door.
"I don't know. Do you want to go to the music store?" he leaned his long torso against the side of the door smiling that sloppy half grin of his.
"Do I have much of a choice?"
"No," he laughed before I settled into his passenger seat. He ran over to his side before he sat down in his seat and turned the heat on in the car.
"It get's really cold here in the winter," I sighed.
"You're not used to this weather are you?" he joked laughing at me.
"No," I frowned. "I hate it."
"What's Florida like?" He began to untie his bow-tie and threw it into his back seat.
"Hot, humid, ummm...there's a lot of old people," I smiled as he chuckled. He really was so nice to talk to sometimes.
"What type of kid were you?" he questioned as he began to pull out of his parking spot.
"Um. What type of kid was I?" I questioned him back becoming a little curious of why he was asking so many questions. His face was solemn with a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I was pretty quiet. I liked to read. My brothers were both in high school and/or graduating...so I wasn't really planned. My parent's strongly believed in the saying kids must be seen and not heard."
"How many brothers do you have?"
"I have two. Stefan and Mike. Stefan's the older one, he'll be getting married soon to his fiance. And I haven't seen Mike in awhile..."
"He couldn't take your strict parents?"
"Well, he didn't really get along well with them. He decided he would be better off without us..." I drug off. I wasn't really comfortable talking about Mike. I wasn't close to either of my brothers. They basically watched me grow up from a baby to a teenager from afar.
"He didn't stay around for you?"
"No," I sighed running my fingers through my straightened hair.
"What about the other one, Stefan?"
"He went off to college in California and visited on holidays. Now he lives in Orlando with his soon to be wifey."
"And your parents...?"
I eyed him once again. He sat there next to me focusing on the road. "I don't want to talk about them," I shut him out. He didn't need to be nosing around in my personal life. It had nothing to do with him. My curiosity got the best of me and words slipped from my tongue. "What about you?"
"I never knew my parents," he spoke. My eyes darted from the window to his face. He wasn't frowning but he wasn't smiling.
"I'm sorry."
"You shouldn't be sorry about anything. They had me and Daph and then split. The guy that used to house me said our mom was...ugh..." He turned to me speculatively.
