THIS IS A REPOSTED CHAPTER 34 BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT SEEING IT
"I'll see you soon, Mom," I called after her as she walked towards her terminal at the airport. She looked happy and sad to be going home. I realized how much I missed her protectiveness these past few months. It used to be that I wasn't even able to eat dinner until all my homework was done. Or I couldn't go out unless I called her every hour to tell her how I was and where I was at. I used to think of it as my mom trying to kill my social skills, but now I see she just wanted to make sure I was ok. She did it because she loves me.
I ran back out to my new rental car that Ric supplied me with after the accident and I pulled out my phone. I dialed the number and thankfully Harry answered first ring.
"Hey," he chuckled.
"Tell me how to get to Q's," I spoke excitedly.
"What?" he laughed as the room he was in was a little noisy.
"Harry, I want to come over! Tell me how to get to Q's!" I yelled into the phone and he finally was in a quieter place now.
"That's my girl," he spoke lustfully into the phone and then gave me directions from the airport to Q's house. I prepared myself the whole drive over there. I need to call Alaric though. I grabbed my phone and prepared my speech I was going to give him.
"Hello?" he answered.
"Hey, there's awful traffic getting out of here. And it's past curfew so I think I'm going to just pull in somewhere and get a hotel room. Is that ok?" I asked as plainly as possible trying to not give anything away.
"Yeah, it's fine. But you need to be home in the morning before school starts. If you're late Alex won't have a ride," he spoke quietly. Then I heard a girly voice on the other end.
"RIC! Come to bed!" It was Minnie...OH MY GOD!
"Ric!!!" I screeched as I turned onto the last street I was told to turn onto. "Is that Minnie?!?!"
"I'll talk to you later Callie," Ric struggled with the phone for a minute and I started in a fit of laughter.
I saw Harry's large Range Rover parked in a driveway of a small little house and about eight other cars were parked around his. There must be a party going on. I parked on the side of the street and walked into the house without knocking. People were smoking around the TV in the living room and none of them even looked at me. I walked down the small hallway and I saw Vincent come out of a room. What was he doing here?
"Hey Callie," Vincent pinned me suddenly against a wall. I could smell the alcohol lingering all around him.
"Get off me," I tried pushing him away, but it was no use. Vincent was like a boulder, and I was a twig.
"I really wish you chose me instead of Harry. I could have made you happy. You wouldn't of had to of dealt with all his crazy bullshit. I could give you a happy life," he spoke into my mouth. His lips barely hitting mine, but the chapped indention's still hit across my sensitive lips.
"You're drunk," I reminded him. "And I never wanted you to begin with. I've always wanted Harry."
"I call bullshit," he smirked and laughed this god awful laugh into my face. His hands right by each side of my face on the wall.
I saw how I could escape...and I was going to take it. Harry had to be in one of the rooms down the hall. I would just scream his name and he would come save me. Harry would protect me. I knew he would.
I squatted down and ran underneath Vincent's high arm and down the hallway. "Harry! Harry?!" I screamed and began banging on doors. Vincent pulled me up off the ground as his strong arm snaked across my waist. Just then Harry came out of the room at the very end of the hall. He looked over the situation for a split second and then ran after me as Vincent tried to make his escape with me.
