I'm apologizing ahead of time for the short chapter, but it's a good one. Don't worry!

Harry's POV

"Now boarding economy seating," one of the attendants spoke.

I stood up with only my traveling bag and stood in line for what seemed like forever. People are so rude when they are boarding planes. It seems as if they need to get in front of everyone when there is obviously assigned seating. Then they have to take up the entire storage space with their stupid carry on suitcases and massive purses and laptop cases and diaper bags. Planes are completely ridiculous.

"Excuse me sir?" I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see a little girl behind me with her mom trying to hush her up.

"Yes?" I looked down at her already annoyed.

"Do you know where you're sitting?" she asked and her mother straightened up with her fair skin blushing.

"Umm," I lifted my boarding pass, "it says 15A."

"We're sitting in 15A too!" The little girl jumped up and down.

I smiled and began walking forward into the plane. I hate kids. I hate everything about them. Parents don't know how to control them which is even more annoying.

"Mom, how long is the flight?" the little girl yelled behind me and I ground my teeth together.

"Six hours," the mom sounded exhausted.

"Six hours to get some rest," another man spoke behind them.

"Tell me about it," the mom's voice was laced in sarcasm.

"Mom?"

"Yes honey?"

"Do you think we're going to get along with him?"

"Kiara!" The mother sounded shocked and mortified that her daughter had said that aloud. I turned and gave them a small smile before walking down the aisle to our seats. "I'm so sorry!" She apologized to me.

It was the first time I ever had looked at her, the mother. She had dark hair to her shoulders that curled so crazily in each way but still worked in her favor. Her eyes were bloodshot and the dark circles showed how depleted her energy was.

I shoved my bag into the storage bin overhead and sat in my window seat with the mom following behind me and the little girl, Kiara, as well.

I sent my farewell texts to my brothers and sisters and then a final one to James. He had told me not to go. Not to leave everything and everyone behind for something that was a long shot. But I had to. I had to prove to myself that I'm not some sort of charity case, that I've taught myself a few things and that I could do something with my life without the help of someone else. It was time for me to leave and I had a good chance of succeeding.

While I awaited my messages back, Kiara began talking to me again.

"Do you have any games on your phone?" she asked and I actually crooked a smile.

"I don't. I'm sorry," I laughed at the little girls guts.

"Shooey," she frowned and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Kiara sit in your seat please. When we take off I'll give you the iPad," the mom buckled in her daughter. The girl rolled her eyes and then started fiddling with her drawstring coming from her skirt.

"Are you on vacation?" I asked the mom politely.

"No, we're moving. My parents own a bar in downtown London, so I'm going to work for them, help them get their act together," she buckled herself in and I did the same. "You from here or there?"
