Chapter 26: A Defensive Omega

Prince Midoria tried his best to keep up with the Alpha's long strides, "oh, y-yes of course," He managed a quick bow of his head to the King and Queen before he was dragged away up the Palace steps, "b...but where are Aka and Kin?"

"They are fine, don't worry about them. They will find a place to rest until they are needed. Remember, dragons were here long before us, they know more about this land than you could find in one of your history books. I need to show you something much more important" Katsuki led the Omega down several corridors until they reached a grand burgundy door. The Alpha hoped that this was going to be enough.

Katsuki pushed the door open. He heard a small gasp as the two entered the Alpha's chambers.

"Wait, but this is..." green eyes scanned the room, the Alpha was enjoying the reaction a little too much.

"Yes, these are my chambers. I was hoping that you might find them familiar, Omega." Katsuki could tell by the colour of the smaller male's face that he was remembering their dreams. He stepped closer to the clearly flustered Omega, leaning down so that his mouth was close to his ear, "I can't wait until we can re-enact some of them here. The thought of you sprawled out on the bed as I claim you as mine over and over again." He couldn't help but chuckle at the reaction. The poor little Omega could only look at the floor. He gently lifted the Omega's chin with his hand, "there is no need for that, Izuku. I'm to be your Alpha, you don't need to be so shy around me even when it is so adorable." Prince Midoria was trembling a little, his inner Alpha couldn't have that. "May I kiss you?"

Katsuki wasn't expecting such a reply, to have to take a step back as the Omega launched himself forward, their lips meeting passionately. He welcomed it though, pride swelling through him knowing that he could cause this kind of reaction in his mate-to-be. Katsuki hugged the little Prince close to his body, how good it felt to have him so close. But now was not the time for this. Reluctantly he pulled away.

He felt Prince Midoria learn back into him. The Alpha looked down at the green haired Omega, there would be time for that later.

"The real reason that I brought you here is so that you can start building your nest. I know that it won't be the same as your old one, but I was going to let you pick anything from here," Katsuki hated to admit that he felt a little nervous as he waited for a response. His eyes never left the Omega as he spoke, those mesmerising emerald eyes were far too easy to get lost in. He had fallen hard here, he was in trouble.

"Anything? I can choose anything?" Katsuki stepped back to give him space, gesturing to the open door across the room, his dressing room. Prince Midoria scanned the room quickly before practically bouncing through the door. Katsuki watched as the Omega began rifling through his clothes. He'd never seen an Omega prepare a nest before, amazed at how each item was sniffed before it was either ripped off its hanger or ignored. He couldn't help but laugh as the Prince was now becoming submerged in the clothes themselves, maybe he should go and assist.

As Katsuki stepped closer he could hear purring. Where was it coming from? He took another step into the adjoining room. The Omega was now completely submerged in the Alpha's garments, so much so that his green hair was all that could be seen.

"Izuku? Are you ok in there?" Katsuki knelt down, reaching a hand out. The purring was replaced with a sudden growl, startling the Alpha somewhat. Why was his Omega growling at him? "Omega, what's wrong?" Soothing pheromones seeped out of him, he continued to reach forward. Yet the growling only got louder. What was this? Retracting his hand, Katsuki took a deep breath before sitting on the floor. "I shall wait here until you are ready, Omega." He did just that, he sat and watched the large pile of clothes shuffle around. This was not what he had expected. His Omega continued to amaze him. He should have known really, you weren't supposed to get close to an Omega's nest unless you were invited.
