This sleep wasn't restless like all the other dreams I've has since my accident. this sleep was peaceful and deep with soft dreams, like when I rode my first horse. My fourth birth day party. but all good dreams have to come to an end. I wake up when I hear the tiny squeak that comes from my hospital door. My doctor enters, holding a clip board with my most recent test on my condition.
"Sorry to wake you Alex" he begins. "I have heard that you have been having some spinal pain?" I nod. I forgot I had even told him! The doctor looks at me with sorrowful eyes. "I should if told you but you weren't showing any signs if this symptom like most people do when they have this..." my stomach knots. I assumed it was just fomor but now I see, it's true. Alex, you have spinal damage."
