Daniel reaches a hand up to my cheek and brushes away a piece of my hair. he was kinda close...I've never kissed a boy. wait. do I think he's gonna kiss me?! I tilt my chin up to match Daniels height. he smiles
"I just wanted to tell you..." omg just say it!!! "These past days hanging out with you at the stable have been fun...ya know..." one more pause and I am going to die. "we should go so something together." I blush even more.
"L-like a date?" He smiles and leans back.
"Do you want it to be?" I shuffle my feet. quit stalling Alex! You know you like him!!
"I guess we have spent a lot of time together..." I start. "it can be a date." I pause when a devilish smile spreads across my face. "on one condition." he looks shocked but the shock soon turns to determination.
"What do you have on mind?" There's no way I missed the cockiness in his voice.
"Just a simple thing. I get to pay." Daniel laughs.
"You had me worried there." I punch his arm playfully.
"It's only fair." Daniel stops laughing. "okay deal. I will text you when I have a time set up, now let's go before we're late." we walk, his hand brushing mine until our fingers entwine
