Russell's Cousin- Lando Norris story

Baku had been an eventful weekend and with the sprint anticipation raring up it was time to hit the grid with George. Starting up the front the chances of good points were quite high, the car was okay, well better than usual, George was ready for the sprint.

You text lando saying you were leaving the drivers room and heading to the garage with George and that he would need to be quick if he wanted a pre race chat as you were still keeping the news of your two being back together under wraps.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Baku Grand Prix qualifying session here today at the local time" you heard over the speakers as you walked down the paddock to Mercedes.
"Alright anna!" The engineers greeted you
"Where's Georgie boy?" One asked
"Chatting to his boyfriend" you joked. Some looked blank. "He's chatting with lando. He's on his way I promise."
"Good he has twenty two seconds to get in the car otherwise your driving" you heard Toto say from the back of the garage. "Go shout for him anna we can't afford to waste time"
"Will do Toto" you said before scurrying out the garage. To your shock you turned left and physically bumped into the new gem at the team. Mr Schumacher. "Prick" you muttered as you walked past. He didn't even acknowledge you

"Oi Georgie! If your not in the car in 10 seconds yo-yo will fire you for me!" You shouted and the Brit sprinted from in front of the McLaren garage.
"Sorry we were just chatting about the break" George explained
"Tell me after quali we are pushing time G"

As he was finally strapped in the car Toto came over everyone's radios, "okay so, no fucking around boys we need a good start if we are gonna try and be competitive at least. Lewis hopefully it's not as bouncy this year," everyone let out a giggle over last year, apart from Lewis who probably still had nightmares of the pain, "and George, don't crash. It looks like you have more pace so don't shove it in a fucking wall. Okay we clear?"
"Clear" the boys replied and everyone else in the garage gave the thumbs up.

"Come on George let's go for some speed here!" People shouted
"Come on!"
"Let's go George!"  

As the headed down the straights in the final stages of quali the red bull was flying too, heading head first for the over take at turn two where there was a bit of a fuss. It didn't pay off and he tried again at turn three with the success coming next which couldn't be stopped.
"Fucking hate the kid" one of the engineers said to you
"There's no one I'd rather see have a DNF tomorrow than him. Nothing personal just got a team of wankers" you mocked

"Check for damage" you heard over the radio
"Damage? It looked clean" you said to the engineer

"Look his front wing!" One pointed out and there was a chunk missing

Then appearing on the stream was max on the radio to his team shouting that he was pushed off, not given room and was damaged. Yes his car was damaged but he was on the outside of the turn, everyone knows whoever has the inside line has the advantage but also knows Baku corners are hard to over take on and that corner especially would never work as he dived on the outside.

"Fucking child" Toto calmly said as you overheard you looked over and giggled at his comments on max. "Make a t-shirt or mug with that on, try bring some more profit in" he joked back

"Not much we can do just keep going mate we are looking good on pace" George's engineer said as quali was coming to a close.

George managed to get p4 to start the sprint with which was newly brought in this season. As you headed down to parc ferme to meet him from the car he went over to Perez to congratulate him. On his way he was blocked with a very angry max.
"You left me no fucking room!" He shouted
"I had the inside line, we both know the-" George was cut off
"No you can never be wrong!"
"We both know the driver on the inside always has the corner. Max. Leave it" George said walking away from him
"Fucking princess" max hissed as he went by you both
"Hold up sunshine. You, me in the back now. Only I call him princess you prick" you said shooting a look at max
"Wow someone needs to take her off here" he called looking around and laughing
"Anna, come on we don't want any more penalties than we might get" George said ushering you away
