Another year, another Silverstone

"I'll give you a ring when I'm finished with media baby, are you sure your okay?" Lando asked you as you were about to part way to go with George to his media
"I promise, honestly don't worry. I'll see you later" you said kissing his cheek as you slipped away

"You got my bag?" George asked
"Got it" you laughed tapping it as you walked through a conference room which has lights and cameras set up everywhere. George being George had a bag full of mini British flags on sticks, handing them to others and putting them in and on everything he could. "Gonna nominate you for a pride of Britain award at this rate" you laughed
"I'm proud and loud alright"

You swear media would be the end of you, all people wanted was the gossip, that's why working with George had its perks, he was witty enough but would stick to racing facts not any pit lane suspicions. Well that was until Brad Pitt was in the paddock for the weekend, he had plenty of fangirls but the biggest was George. Asking for selfies, "hey Anna can you get him to sign a hat for me?" Text messages you were getting.

While it was the usual duties for the weekend to be happening the vibe at the circuit was always increased by 100% than other tracks. The weather was going to be glorious before the thunderstorms on Saturday too so everyone was making the most of it tonight and having BBQs on the campsite specifically for drivers and team members for the weekend.

Lando: I'm just done now. Mum and dad are meeting me at the garage xx
You: no worries, just with George still. We shouldn't be much longer. I'll head over once I'm done xx
Lando: the bag with the bits in are in my drivers room if you could bring that with you tonight to the camper van xx
You: could you take it instead I've got to sort all George's kit for tomorrow still xx
Lando: okay, don't rush I'll see you later honey xx

Landos texts to you made you nervous of the evening around everyone after a very hard few weeks with just not being able to feel comfortable. Each hour ticked away slowly before you could finish for the day and head over to see lando and his parents who were staying at the track this week before everyone else arrived from your family too.

"Hello!" You smiled as you stopped your car outside the motorhome where lando and his parents were sat outside wrapped in blankets around a fireplace.
"Hello darling, oh you are glowing as always" his mum said kissing each of your cheeks.
"You alright love" his dad said standing to greet you
"I'm good now I'm done for the day, I'm shattered" you said sitting down next to lando as you slumped in the chair
"You two been busy the past few weeks haven't you!" Landos mum laughed as she saw how tired you both were
"Oh you have no idea - trust me" you giggled as you rubbed your eyes
"Here you go love" lando said handing you a can of coke
"So, what's the latest then son?" Landos dad asked him
"Erm few races, few parties, more races, not as much partying. Been doing some work at our apartment too haven't we Anna?"
"Yeah just doing up the spare room finally" you smiled "one second I'll just go grab the snacks from the fridge" yoh said standing up
"I'll come with you" lando followed and rushed behind you "I don't know when or what to say" he whispered to you
"Me neither! I just I don't know - can we wait till after the race when everyone is here. I feel I need to say it to everyone at the same time"
"That's perfect, it's going to be okay. We've got this" lando smiled as he hugged you tightly to his chest.
