Early in the morning In Bangkok AtY/N's place Author's Pov Y/N had just taken a shower. She was wearing clothes. Suddenly she turned around and noticed the circular scare on her left shoulder in the mirror. She made a disgusted face. She took her towel and rubbed it harshly on it hoping to rub off the scare. But it was too deep. She finally left it and sighed remembering the story behind that scare.
11 years back... 16 year old Y/N was crying, trying to convince his father to send abroad for higher studies. He sat there on sofa looking furiously at her. Y/N was kneeling on floor near his feet. Her head lowered. "Haven't you got too much guts?." He said and lit his cigarette. "Appa please, all my friends are going," she said between tears and joined her hands in pleading. "ENOUGH!! I SAID NO MEANS NO" he shouted and her little body flinched. "Please calm down" her mother said. He looked at her mother angrily. "After all she is your daughter. Never obeys!" He said. He grabbed Y/N's hair and made her look at him. "You have developed a bad habit of not obeying. You really deserve a punishment." He said and pushed her away. He grabbed her arm, pushed his litted cigrette on her clothes shoulder. The cigarette burned the clothe making a hole on it and burned her skin. She hissed in pain "It's ok darling, sometimes, people like you need punishment". He said sweetly Y/N looked at his father with rage and hatred. The cigarette burned her skin and finally got extinguish. The skin lost its upper layer. The father looked at her and slapped her face with full force. "Don't you dare show me those eyes or I'll scratch them off" he said and left. Y/N straighten herself and wiped her bleeding lips. Her mother went and trying to touch her but Y/N yanked her hands away and looked at her with anger written on her face.
At present... She wore her clothes and came down.

Her mother looked at her smiling. "Y/N, see I have make all your favourite food you liked." She said loving. Susan, a fortune years old lady and Y/N's caretaker looked at her smiling and said. " Y/N, have your breakfast quickly." Y/N looked at them and said," I don't have an appetite" and exited for her office. Her mother looked at the untouched food and tears filled her eyes. Susan came and caressed her shoulder and said. "It's okay Mrs Shin, sometimes she actually don't have an appetite"
"Does she eats properly?" Mrs Shin asked. Susan sighed and said," I try my best. But due to work she often skips her meal. And also comes home drunk at times." Mrs Shin teared up on this. She knows why she doesn't take care of herself. And why she refused to eat today's breakfast. "Now that you are here. Please tell her to eat properly. She will listen her mother" Susan said. Mrs Shin chuckled sadly knowing that her presence will not bring any changes in her.
Later.. At office Y/N was working on computer when her phone buzzed. She looked at the message. It was Taehyung. He has send a picture of all the medicine prescribed to her. He wrote - " please take these medicines on time. I don't want you to go to hospital again."
Y/N unknowingly smiled. "Why are you smiling?" Namjoon said who was sitting on the sofa of her cabin.

He was working on the laptop. "Did I?" Y/N said. He nodded looking at her. "Who is it?" He asked. "Nothing" she said returning.her focus to computer. "Perhaps do you like someone?" Namjoon asked. Her fingers froze on the keyboard. " What nonsense?I am not interested in any of these trash" she said looking at him with blunt expression. He got up from his seat and pointed at her ring. "Is it because of this thing?"
Y/N looked at him angrily. "Y/N you should understand that he is gone. How long are you going to keep his memories with you? He cheated on you and look at you. Still hung on his rotten memories." He said with frustration. Y/N opened her mouth to say but couldn't. " Move on Y/N, you have a your entire life left ahead of you. Don't be blind. There must be someone better that him. Someone who can understand what you are going through?" Namjoon said. "I don't want anyone else now. I have enough people in my life " Y/N said while looking blankly at the screen. "So that mean you are going to stay like this forever. Look at him, he didn't even care.. he is married and now a father. He is living his life without any bother" he said angrily. "I don't care, please don't bring this up again" she said. Namjoon sighed and said "Ok.. I wanted to tell you that tomorrow Mr. Yoo Seung Ho has invited you to his anniversary party. So do what we have planned. He said left the cabin.

Hello readers 😇. Today I got selected for a cultural event🎉 at my college as the host. I have tore almost a bunch of papers in preparing the speech and script🥲. I got frustrated so I decided to write a chapter here. I feel relaxed now ☺️. But I have to somehow prepare that speech. I can't even say no to it😭
