29. Brave enough?

AUTHOR'S POV
Y/N came home and threw her body on the sofa. All the elements of the day were moving across her head like a bullet train. Soon she drifted into sleep.

All the cloths lying on the floor and two bodies under the sheet sleeping senseless of the surroundings. Y/n's breath is audible and it's irritating herself. She cleared her vison to see the sight but it got more blurred...then only a face was clearly visible.

Y/N opened her eyes only to find herself breathing heavily. Those dreams are just awful. She buried her face in the pillow and screamed her lunges out. Rest of the night passed by staring at the walls and a bottle of alcohol.

At 9.30 am
At Hybe's Headquarter
In Taehyung's chamber.

Taehyung was busy with his work when Jimin came in. Taehyung looked up and said," At least knock Jimin, "
Jimin frowned and said," Now I have to knock before I enter in your chamber?"
Taehyung chuckled and said,"Come on, Now tell me , what is it?".
Jimin slapped a bunch of files in the table and said," our team has reported a lot of bugs in that new project. These are the details."
Taehyung threw his head back in exhaustion.
"You went to Christmas carnival with Miss Shin?" Jimin asked all of a sudden.
Taehyung widen his eyes.
He looked at him tried saying something. "You see ... I...i.th....haha..um"

"I can't believe this, she rejected my offer to go with you " Jimin was astonished.
"No, actually Soojin convinced her" Taehyung said.
"She broke my heart" Jimin said lightly being dramatic.
"Shuuuut uuuup" Taehyung said while stretching his arms and finding Jimin's reaction funny.

Time skips...

Y/N decided to go out to have fresh air.

She opened her door to depart when saw Taehyung standing with a smile.
"You are going somewhere?"He asked.
"Yeah, just for a walk." She replied.
"Mind if I join you?" He asked. Y/N looked at him for a moment and asked back.
"You have so many friends I have heard, then why you want to go out with me, we don't know each other for long enough"

Taehyung was taken aback but composed and smiled back. "You see, you know what happened to me in this recent times, you were the witness to all of it. I thought you will understand me better. I am going out every day now to refresh my mind and forget all of those things, so I thought I should share this time with someone who knows what is happening to me......if you are not comfortable then ...no prob-"

"No no it's.. it's fine" Y/N said.

Soon they both were at the beach walking on the sand.
Y/N was quiet the whole time and would smile a little as a response to Taehyung's random talks about weather, food, etc.

He suddenly stopped and asked," do you feel bored because of me?"
Y/N shook her head.
"Can I ask you something personal" he asked again.
Y/N nodded.
He pointed at her ring and asked," is that an engagement ring?".
Y/N froze completely and looked at the ring.
"Sorry to ask but did he also broke your heart?" Taehyung asked.
Next moment, he got a little panicked because Y/N's eyes had brimmed with tears and anger was sketched on her eyebrows.She broke the eye contact and looked at the tied of sea.

Y/N's POV
How did he know? How could someone guess that so rightly? How did HE guess that so accurately?

" I am really sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" He said with panic.
"No, it's fine. Afterall I have accepted this fate" I said.

"No, you haven't" he said.
What does he mean , I haven't.
"You are telling yourself to accept this but your mind is still not ready for it that's why you still have the ring" he said.
What does he mean? Ofcourse I have accepted the fate and the ring... it is their because.... because...yes my heart is still not ready even after 6 years. How does he know all of this?
"You still love him?" He asked.
What's his problem? He keeps asking questions that make my wound green.
"Please let's talk of something else" I said trying to end this conversation.
"Why?, because you are afraid of truth, you have to be brave enough to handle the truth otherwise these feelings will keep us away from a better future." He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.

He sat on the bench and stretched his arms. I sat at end of the bench facing the sea.

"I believe that when we keep holding the feelings, things and people even cwhen it's time to let go, we tell God that we don't trust his plans but He always has something bigger and better waiting for us. He takes something away from our life when he realises that it will harm us, so let him decide what's best for us. It is hurts ofcourse to detach someone from us but maybe that is what good for us." Taehyung said and looked at me.
We looked at each other. I wanted to break this eye contact but his eyes had something strange... Maybe comfort. Yes his eyes had comfort. His words had hope. But what's the point when God did all the injustice to me. According to him. God thinks that all of these hell I went through was best for me?.

"If God knows what's best for us then why he puts us through all the sufferings. Why Does he want us to suffer?" I asked.

"Because he wants to make us stronger. He wants us to be brave. That's why he often puts us in situations where we have to face our fear.All we have to do is trust God and face our fear with bravery." He said and smiled at last.

"I don't know what to say, you say that God knows what is best for us and then makes us go through ugliest situations," I said as my confusion needs a clear page.

"God plans are ahead of time, he makes plans but knows that to execute those plans, he might need a better or braver version of you so he does some ugly pranks to make us stronger." He said.
How come he has answer to my every question?.
"Are you some kind of spiritual guru?" I asked.

He chuckled loudly and threw his head back.
"No,I think you need one though, just like I need a friend like you." He said while still chuckling.

"I don't need anyone " I said and looked away.

TAEHYUNG smiled and said
"Come on Y/N, looking at our situations right now, I think, WE NEED EACH OTHER"

Hello, lovely readers, I know I know.... I took a long time but look am finally back...

And what did I do in these days...eh..well...I paid alot.of attention to my mental health and physical health. Because recently I had recovered from fever 🤒....but I am fine now... And of course gave my exams...( Now waiting for freaking results 😞)
