(Just know I'm still getting used to typing my own stories so if it is confusing, then I'm very sorry. I'm not very good with English, as it is my first language. If people don't know my language is, it is Samoan, so that is why English doesn't go well with me.)

Chapter 4: Magic and Mates

"Oh, um, yeah," Edward stuttered, his usually smooth, immortal composure completely evaporating under the weight of his family's curious stares.

"Maybe I should take it from here," Jasmine offered softly, stepping in to rescue her long-lost friend.

"Yes, please," Edward replied, exhaling a quiet breath of relief.

Jasmine turned to the bronze-haired vampire's family with a warm, reassuring smile. "Perhaps we can discuss this properly after school if that is alright with you all? I promise to explain everything, but right now, the bell is about to ring and we really should get to class."

The Cullens, though bursting with questions, nodded in agreement. The strange, miraculous reunion was put on a temporary hold as the bell echoed across the campus, and the two vastly different groups dispersed into the corridors of Forks High School to navigate the rest of the school day.

Later that afternoon, the magical family's vehicles lined the long, winding driveway of the Cullen residence. Climbing out of her car, Jasmine paused to admire the stunning, modern house nestled deep within the dense forest.

"Wow, this is a beautiful, wonderfully designed house," Jasmine commented, her eyes tracing the expansive glass walls that seamlessly integrated the home into the surrounding nature. Beside her, the rest of her family murmured their quiet agreement.

The coven members smiled proudly. "Thank you," Edward said, a fond expression on his face. "Esme, our adoptive mother, is an architect. She is the one who designed it."

"It is truly a masterpiece, Mrs. Cullen," Narcissa said elegantly as they all made their way inside the bright, spacious entryway.

"Can we have a family meeting in the living room?" Edward requested, guiding their guests into a large, comfortable room furnished with plush seating.

Once everyone was settled, Rosalie—the beautiful blonde from the parking lot—crossed her arms, her golden eyes locked onto Jasmine. "Alright. Explain."

Edward looked at Jasmine with a pleading expression. She rolled her eyes playfully, a fond smile breaking across her lips.

"My name is Jasmine Dorea-Lily Potter-Black-Snape," she began, her voice clear and steady. She gestured gracefully to her companions as she introduced them. "This is my Papa, Severus Snape. This is my Uncle Lucius Malfoy, his wife, Aunt Narcissa, and their son, Draco, who is my cousin. These are my sisters in everything but blood, Hermione Granger-Potter and Luna Lovegood-Potter. And these are my brothers, Ron, Fred, and George Weasley."

She paused, looking at Edward. "And Cedric Diggory was a boy we all once knew. I loved him dearly, just like an older brother. You see, my family and I belong to a hidden magical community. My sisters and I are witches, and the men here are wizards. Back in our world, our families hold ancient, noble titles—which essentially means old, wealthy families."

Across the room, the Cullens looked thoroughly skeptical. The concept of magic, even to vampires, seemed like a fairy tale.

Amused by their silent disbelief, Jasmine casually flicked her wrist. Without a wand, she sent a wave of silent, wandless magic toward the low wooden coffee table. The heavy piece of furniture lifted smoothly into the air, hovering effortlessly a few feet above the rug. With another elegant twitch of her fingers, the decorative vase sitting on top of the table shifted, transforming in a blink into a neat stack of parchment paper and sleek fountain pens.
