It got even colder as the days rolled into December. It snowed that first week and left a thick white blanket covering the ground.

After a while of not hanging out with the guys we had finally set up a time to all hang out together. We'd be driving to Denver to do Karaoke- something Cartman and Kenny insisted on while the rest of us were hesitant to agree. We'd get dinner and head back to Stan's place because his parents were out of town for the weekend. The sun was already setting despite it only being 5. I loved winter but at the same time, I didn't. By the time I got home from school I had about an hour and a half before the sun started shrinking behind the mountains and I felt like I had already wasted the whole day

I made sure to bundle up, wearing boots and a jacket underneath the cost that k so kindly gave me. He was supposed to be picking us up. He had the most room in his car.

I sat on the couch looking out the window and waiting for them to arrive. "Make sure you guys aren't getting into trouble." My mom instructed as she came down the stairs.

"Don't worry, I promise they're responsible" I assured her.

I guess my dad had bitched about how he didn't like them much because after that my mom became weary of who I was hanging out with. She encouraged me to hang out with Butters more because she knew his mom and knew that he would positively influence me. Which was true, we did need to hang out, I just had to find a time we both were free.

A knock on the door startled my thoughts. Dammit. She distracted me. I prayed it wasn't Kenny at the door this time. I didn't have a problem with him at all. It was parents who would get the wrong idea when they saw how he presented himself.

I opened the door. The green Ushanka caught my eye and I sighed a breath of relief. "Hey Kyle." I smiled. I saw my mom poke her head out from the kitchen. "So this is Kyle?" She asked. Kyle peeked around me looking at my mom and waved. "Hello Mrs. (L/n), I'm here to pick up (y/n)" He told her flashing a charming smile. "I've heard a lot about you, it's good to finally meet you" He added.

His charm seemed to have worked on her because she smiled softly. "It's nice to meet you too. I'm so happy (y/n) has been making friends. You guys make sure to be safe okay? Drive slow, the roads are icy."

"Don't worry, we will be super careful." He assured her. He then looked back down at me. "Ready to go?"

I nodded. "Bye mom, love you" I called before stepping out and shutting the door behind me.

"Damn Broflovski I didn't know you had the skills to charm mom's like that" I laughed walking down the porch steps. He laughed. "Hey friends always have a hard time impressing my mom so I've learned from that, I'm basically the mom whipserer"

I snorted at his comment

We approached the car and I opened the back door. Kenny and Cartman were in the back. "Scoot."

"Climb into the back or go to the other side." Cartman told me crossing his arms. I groaned dramatically as I walked around the car to the other side. "Whatever" I said getting in, sitting next to k.

"Yeah fatass, now I get to sit with her." Kenny pointed smirking.

Eric narrowed his eyes at him, not saying anything.
