23: Octopus

Yoongi's POV

"I would like to have a glass of champagne with lemon slices, please." I ordered and the lady gave me a seductive smile, before nodding and then walking away.

"What's on the news?" I munched and started reading the newspaper. "Argyll, inhuman and barbarous murder of a female by cutting off her head, arms and legs, and burning them with the procedure of the coroner's inquest." I mumbled to myself and raised an eyebrow.

"Sounds sweet."

I blinked several times when the server passed me the glass of champagne at my table. I smiled at her and she walked back.

Taking a sip on the drink, the alcohol burning my throat when I chug it down, I read another piece of news on the daily columns of the Collice News.

"Alarming experience of fair bathers who are attacked by an octopus?" I tilted my head in confusion and stared at the picture of the ladies running away from the small octopus.

"Well, why are they scared of it when it's not even half their size? Funny." I chuckled and folded my newspaper to drink more. Until I heard screams from out of the bar.

I scanned outside to see people running, my brows furrowing as I covered down the entire glass of drink before keeping the glass down, taking out some money bills and keeping them on the table.

I turned back, hurriedly exiting the place and placing my hands beside my figure, flying up. I saw a carriage being rolled over and approaching a lady who was running with her child.

I quickly raised my fingers, making a teleport hoop on the street and the car fell into it. Probably somewhere else in this city.

I squinted my eyes as I saw a girl running in the front to hide behind a bus.

But then the bus was floating in the air and I narrowed my eyes, the red flames on my hands as I moved it in front of my face.

A creature was holding the double decker up. But it couldn't be seen by others. A creature unlike normal cats and dogs on the street but rather. Ab octopus. A giant one. With one big eye.

Everyone screamed even more when I made it visible for others as they escaped the place immediately. I made finger gestures with my hands, red flames flickering and the bus divided into cubes floating in the air.

My eyes fell on the same silver hair girl hanging from one of the bars inside the bus that was still bound by a force, holding the pieces together.

The octopus saw her and moved its tentacle to reach her but I threw a red flame on it, cutting its tentacle.

The octopus stared at me. Oh my lord! This was a mystical creature! A creature as tall as a building.

I heard the silver hair scream and my eyes widened to see her hands slipping from the bar. I quickly used my flames and used it to create a soft platform for her to land, bringing her closer to me.

Meanwhile, I focused on the bus and made the pieces join back together as the platform reached me, tilting sideways, making the girl drop right beside me.

The octopus was still holding the bus so I moved my hand, turning it towards him and hitting the octopus with the bus like we used a newspaper to swat a fly.

I turned around to see the girl friend at me but then she looked behind me, eyes widening as she pointed. "Look out!"

I quickly turned back to see the octopus throwing the crushed back at us and I swiftly used my powers and turned the bus into a flight of butterflies. I smirked and turned back at the girl who was looking at me with big eyes.

I frowned at her. "Do I know you?" But then a huge blow caused me to fall back as the octopus pushed me towards a store, shattering the glass windows and causing a ruchita l ruckus.

I groaned and sat up, seeing the girl run away from the octopus as it kept following her. I already know the headlines for tomorrow.

A giant octopus spotted on the streets.

I stood up when its tentacle wrapped around the girl, lifting her up from the ground while she was struggling and squirming to move out.

But then a blue flashed rope was thrown at her figure, wrapping it around her figure and pulling her towards itself while floating in air.

I saw the familiar blue hoop and in front of it stood a familiar long purple hair man, clad in white and he stared at the creature in utter disgust.

The octopus moved its tentacle, trying to catch him but he kept flying while throwing his blue rope and then using his blue flamed sword to cut off its tentacle that keeps on growing.

Its tentacle moved forward and wrapped itself around the man, chaining him. And it moved forward towards the girl who ran while screaming.

All the carriages and stalls were being destroyed as the octopus kept moving forward to chase the girl.

Oh yeah. Not to forget.

With Hoseok, trapped in his tentacle like a burrito, his long purple hair flying everywhere.
