46: Tricked

Author's POV

"Key?" Jin asked and looked at Y/n who blinked her eyes. "What?" She asked, shrugging her shoulders.

"That day when you healed Jungkook you took this name," Jin said and Jungkook's eyes widened as he nodded his head in agreement. "Yes. Key. The Conqueror. Something." Jungkook added and Jin looked at Jimin.

"She also said that Jimin will be the one who will save us from the bigger threat," Jin added and Y/n frowned. "Why don't I remember it?" She asked herself.

"People tend to forget their dreams and visions if they are painful," Namjoon said and she looked at him but Hoseok turned to look at Kiara sternly, "What are you going to do after you escape?"

"Win." She replied simply and Kibum's dress transformed into a white one, his horned headpiece turned into a white crown. He smirked and stood in the middle of the platform.

"I felt what you have done, Key. Entire worlds, entire timelines. Gone like they never existed." Jimin mumbled and the others looked at him in shock. Kiara sighed and looked at him before saying, "Universes were colliding and there were endless incursions. I saw the Multiverse and it was dying. I took control."

"The people were saying, The Conqueror burned our homes, our stories. He built his citadel on the bones of our people. Some of us escaped, found others on the run, and gathered what we could to fight. It's never enough. You destroyed lives!" Jimin screamed and the seven others realized what he was trying to say and what they participated in helping for Kiara. 

"You started a war and now you wanna wipe away any universe that's a threat to you. That is what monsters do!" Namjoon barked at her. "That is what conquerors do! They burn broken worlds and make new ones!" Kiara screamed in rage.

"You'll be burning all of our timelines," Jin pointed out. "Murdering trillions of people," Hoseok said. Kiara looked at them and passed a sad smile before saying,

"I wish that mattered." 

The Time Chair began to levitate, and Kibum's armor began materializing around his body but suddenly Y/n started floating towards the Engine as her powers started drawing out of her body.

"Y/n!" Taehyung screamed along with the others except Jimin and they shouted while looking at her screaming in pain but were surrounded by countless shadows of Kibum who were blocking them. They started using their powers to overthrow the so-called shadow soldiers but there were too many of them.

 Kiara tried one last time to convince Jimin to come with her through her mind. I'll take you to any universe where you can exchange life with your parallel self who has a family. Kiara was claiming that Jimin could make it so that he would be back to normal with his family in some world and would not harm that world.

You'll have a family. She thought in her mind and Jimin looked at her in rage before turning back to the six other boys trying to fight the shadows that were flying around them to prevent them to reach Y/n. But then his eyes landed on Y/n who was groaning in pain.

I have my family. My 7 Forever.

Jimin thought, refusing to listen, and decided to push Y/n away, fearing what would happen if Kiara managed to escape. In a fit of rage, Kibum blew up the platform and fired an energy blast at Jimin. 

He quickly shuffled back, missing the attack, and started throwing back magical flames at Kibum. Taehyung with green glowing eyes, was fighting the shadows too, using his magical powers to shove them away but they were replicating and attacking him more. Jin, with his indigo eyes, was throwing fireballs and tornados at them but more kept coming.

"They don't have souls!" Jungkook, with his orange eyes, was molding the shadows, twisting it with his powers while Namjoon, with his glowing violet eyes, was just ripping the shadows apart like a cheese stick.

"Deal with it!" Hoseok screamed, his eyes flaming blue as he used his magical rope to tie and bind the shadows. Yoongi was turning the souls into butterflies, with his red eyes glowing, standing in a single place, changing their reality and turning it into an illusion.

He slowly approached Y/n who struggled to sit up and looked at him with a weak smile, dried tears stained her face. "Take my power. I understand." She said weakly.

Yoongi bent down and held her shoulders before making her stand up. She looked at him in confusion but he smiled, shaking his head, "No, Y/n. I've come here to tell you to trust yourself. Trust your power. That's how we stop them."

"I can't control it," she replied helplessly but Taehyung approached her while holding the throats of two shadows, "Yes, you can! You have been all along. Every time you opened a portal, you sent us exactly where we needed to go." Taehyung said with a smile before resuming his fight.

"Yes, Y/n. With great power comes great responsibility. You have great power so now you know what comes next," Namjoon said smiling at her before running away to fight another shadow. "We have to be greater than what we suffer," Hoseok quoted, casually passing behind them with his rope dragging a dozen of shadows together.

"And if you feel like your life is a lie then sometimes things have to go very wrong before they are all right, buddy," Jin commented as Jungkook finally arrived with a big sheepish grin on his face. "I won't use Pinterest quotes like them but I'll just say," he mumbled before leaning down to her ear and whispering, "Kick all the fucking conquerors' asses." 

He pulled back with a grin and saw Y/n smiling at him but then cleared his throat, walking back to the other shadows. Y/n smirked, getting an idea from Jungkook's words.

"Jimin, give her back to us!" Kibum warned him in a dangerous voice. "Jimin, please." Kiara pleaded. Y/n looked at them and then back at Yoongi who nodded at her. 

She glared at Kiara and ran towards her at full force before her eyes glowed, forming a hoop behind Kiara's figure and she pushed her into the hoop as she fell into it along with her. Taehyung's eyes widened and so did the others but before they could enter the hoop it closed.

"What the fuck? Did she just leave us here all alone? I told her to kick asses not to abandon our asses here?" Jungkook asked in disbelief as Kibum groaned before glaring at the others,

"Things just got out of hand."
