42: Bargain

Author's POV

Taehyung enters the Dark matter, looking around to see countless planets, destroyed globes of mass, and charred matter in the entire dark space. 

Kiran declared that Dormammu's arrival couldn't be stopped anymore and once again mentioned that the Dark Dimension is "beyond time". Hearing this, Taehyung figured out a way to defeat Dormammu and decided to visit the Dark Dimension.

The Dark Dimension exists in a void of time and the laws of physics. Any light there is cold; it can be seen, yet it does not radiate energy. The Dark Dimensions is a corruption of the original reality that was once found there, and an amalgamation of countless other dimensions that its master, Dormammu, has consumed.

So what did it look like? Hell? Taaehyung wondered, staring at the entity around him. Hell is relative. Dimensions, space, planets... it's all connected. Plenty of them qualifies as hell. 

It was freezing. The type of cold that kills. And there was a blackness, a dark beyond dark. Taehyung's robe hugged him tighter to keep him warm but still Taehyung could feel the little hairs on his neck rising up. 

"The Dark Dimension, also known as the Darkforce Dimension, the Hell Dimension, or simply Hell, is a vast dimension in the Multiverse is ruled by Dormammu. A strange and hostile dimension, it is an amalgamation of itself and all other dimensions Dormammu had conquered and absorbed into it. Time does not exist in the Dark Dimension in the same way it does within the regular universe. This allows it to be the power source of life-extending spells and the removal of mortality, at times, giving sorcerers superhuman abilities beyond their magic."

Taehyung recalled the lines from the Book Of Calgiostro that he read back at Kamar Taj. He shut his eyes and focused, creating green geometric shapes, two overlapped squares with 8 circular globules having hundreds of triangles overlapped in each of them, connected to a huge circle in the center, forming in front of his eyes. He casted the spell.

He smirked when the spell worked. He slowly walked forward until he came across a wrapped face in the middle of the dimension. His face looked like it was a part of the space with just his eyes and mouth glowing in a shade of white. "Dormammu, I've come to bargain," Taehyung said confidently. As if he felt like the Devil King glared at him when he spoke in the heaviest voice. 

"You've come to die. Your world is now my world, like all the others." Dormammu replied and uses the dimension's power as a weapon, using it to kill Taehyung with mystical cosmic energies for powerful energy blasts from his eyes, albeit with less than successful results.

Taehyung turned into ashes in a few seconds.

But was turned back to being whole again, bringing back to the exact point when he just created the geometrical shape in front of him. He smirked and walked forward. He came across Dormammu once again. "Dormammu, I've come to bargain," Taehyung said. Dormammu glared at him.

"You've come to die. Your world is now my world like all- What is this? Illusion?" Dormammu asked in confusion, looking around, feeling this occurrence happen to him just a few minutes ago. 

Taehyung smirked, shaking his head. "No, this is all real. No illusion." He said and Dormammu glared. "Good then!" As countless spikes were thrown at Taehyung from everywhere, manipulating the very ground he stood on, killing him in an instant.

But Taehyung was again taken back to the exact point where he made the geometric shapes. He walked to Dormammu again. "Dormammu, I've come to bargain," Taehyung said. Dormammu looked at him in disbelief. "You- What is happening?" He demanded to know.

"I thought your dimension lacked something and I am the Sorceror Supreme controlling it, I thought of bringing it into your dimension," Taehyung said and raised his hands up, showing his green flames and glowing green eyes. 

"This is time. Endless looped time."

Dormammu, possessing immeasurable levels of strength due to his size and spacial warping abilities, manifests a colossal hand and easily crushes Taehyung as if he is an insect. 

But he came back again, repeating the same words with equal confidence, over and over again.

"You cannot do this forever!" Dormammu raised his voice. "Actually, I can. This is how things are now. You and me, trapped at this moment endlessly." Taehyung replied.

"You will spend an eternity dying," Dormammu shouted. "Yes. But everyone on the Multiverse will live." Taehyung answered instantly. 

"But you will suffer," Dormammu announced. "At least, the ones whom I love won't so I don't mind." Dormammu shrugged off Taehyung's words and proceeded to swiftly kill him. Suddenly Taehyung appeared again repeating the exact same words as before. "Dormammu, I've come to bargain."

"Dormammu."

"Dormammu."

"Dormammu."

"Dormammu."

"Dormammu."

Dormammu attempted to kill Taehyung every time, only for him to reappear and repeat the cycle over and over. He also summoned tentacle-like entities from the ground to kill Taehyung, as well as summoning shards of matter to impale him. 

"You will never win!" Dormammu said and Taehyung smirked at him, walking forward. "But I can lose. Again. And again. And again forever. That makes you my prisoner forever." Taehyung said as Dormammu used telekinesis in order to throw a moon-like ball of matter which killed him.

"Dormammu, I've come to-"

"Stop! Make this stop! Set me Free!" Dormammu said but Taehyung shook his head, approaching him. "No! I've come to bargain!" He said and Dormammu looked at him furiously.

"What do you want?" Dormammu asks, realizing that Taehyung has tricked him into a position where only he would set the rules. So Taehyung replies,

"Take your Zealots from the Earth. End your assault on my world. And never come back. Do it and I'll break the loop."
