21: More Theory

Y/n's POV

"Wow! It is so good! Professors at Harvard are so good!" I cheered, walking through the corridor. "This is the fucking most boring class ever!" Jungkook said, slumping his shoulders while walking beside me. 

"Why?"

"Multiverse? Magic? Dimensions?" He asked, raising his eyebrows and giving me a bewildered look. I gave him a look of displeasure and he shrugged, "What? Do you want me to fucking believe in those things? Oh, please, Y/n. Let's get to the library. I have fucking exams coming up anyway! Eunwoo and Migyu are already taking a leave!"

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the library. "I am going to fucking look for something to take down notes. You can roam around and read, but tell me if you want to borrow something. You ain't got a library card so you would need mine." He said and I nodded. 

He walked towards the shelves and I looked around the close by shelves to look for something. I took a book with a suitable title and sat on an empty table. I opened it and started reading the book with the title.

The Multiverse: Time and Dimensional Travel is Real?

"So this world doesn't believe in dimensions?" I mumbled while reading the book. "It is not that they don't believe it but they just haven't been traveling around like you to practically experience it." 

I flinched hearing the groggy voice from beside me. I clutched my heart and shut my eyes when I recognized the person beside me. "Professor Lee. You scared me."

"Oh, did I? I am sorry about that but after traveling countless Multiverse, you shouldn't be scared of a simple old man, silver flame." He said and my eyes widened. He chuckled after looking at my expressions and nodded his head.

"How did you know?"

"I saw you back at Sakaar when you were fighting with the black smoke." He told but I corrected him. "Cloud."

"It was smoke."

"Cloud."

"Alright. Whatever helps you sleep at night." He mumbled but that was not the conversation here. "But you were there too? What does that mean? Did you get transported here with me?"

"No. That would certainly not be the case." He explained and I frowned. "Then how in the universe did you just shift from one place to the other like me without me?" I asked him bluntly because none of the things happening around me is actually making sense.

"I am there in every universe." He said and I heard him. I nodded my head but then my eyes widened. "Wait! What? You're there in every universe? How is that even possible?" I asked, raising my voice but that didn't seem to affect him.

"I'm everywhere. Ominous." 

"You're God?" I asked curiously, whispering this time. He started laughing but shook his head. "When I was young, this cloud of silver was formed in the sky. I was out playing by myself in the playground but that thing just intrigued me. So I walked towards it and tried to look at it right from under it. But it beamed me up and something happened but my variants were merged and placed in all the universes."

I gasped and covered my mouth dramatically. "You have powers?" I asked but he frowned. "No, I'm not a Sorceror Supreme like all of you. I am just a human being who was caught up in the act of miscalculation by the multiverse." He said.

"Sorceror Supreme? What is that?" I questioned. He smiled. "Well, you are with one now yourself." He said and I frowned. "You are one?" I asked but he chuckled.

"What did I say? I am not one. You are and you have one beside you right now." He said. This thing was stressing me out. Who is he talking about? Who is beside me?

"Y/n, are you done? Oh, Professor!" 

I turned around and saw Jungkook with books in his hands, taking a seat beside me and looking at Professor with big eyes. "Here he is. It's my turn to leave. Bye, Jeon Jungkook. Have a great adventure." He said and stood up from his seat and turned around to walk away.

"What the fuck was the professor talking to you about? Did he ask you why you were in his class without being a student?" Jungkook whispered to me but my eyes were fixed on the door through which Professor just walked out. "He knows a lot."

"Well, Professor at Harvard for over 50 years. What do you fucking expect?" Jungkook whispered and I turned to smile at him. "Jungkook, you really curse a lot," I told him but he smiled back.

"You don't like it? You don't want me to?" He asked softly with a smile. I shook my head. "I am no one to tell you that." He draped an arm around my shoulder and leaned his face closer to me.

"Hey, who said that, honey? You are a close friend of mine. Or do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked but my smile dropped. 

Taehyung.

I am Taehyung's girlfriend.

I forced a smile on my face again and he probably noticed it because he released my shoulder. "I am sorry but I already have a boyfriend," I told him and he pressed his lips together, smiling slightly with his eyes and nodding.

"Figured it out. Why would a beautiful girl like you be even available?" He said and turned around but then quickly turned back to me again. "Hey, but you know we are still friends. Just saying. You having a boyfriend and stuff won't just ruin this beautiful bond between us. We are pure friends who will help-"

"Hello, there." 

Jungkook stopped and both of us turned to look at the tiny toy on the table. "Did that chick just talk?" Jungkook asked but I frowned at the white furry hen toy. "Chick? Like a woman?"

"No, like that fluffy chicken little," Jungkook confirmed but the white chicken on the table. "I don't really think so it did. We might have been mistaken." I mumbled but the toy turned its head up, a smirk on its face and eyes glowing yellow as it spoke,

"You were not mistaken. It was me."
