44: History

Author's POV

"I told you to shut up!" Namjoon whispered to Jin who was hiding behind him, telling him the possible ways they would die on this unknown planet as they were walking to the enormous castle.

"Can't I just take Y/n away and blow this place up?" Taehyung asked, getting impatient. "Yes! I suggested you guys! Attack!" Jungkook said, running forward but Namjoon held the back of his shirt, lifting him up effortlessly and making him stand back. Jungkook pouted at him.

"That's not a plan of attack." Yoongi warned the bowl-cut boy before turning to Taehyung, "And Taehyung please, stop blowing up places because of Y/n. You're not a villain in this particular story." 

"Well, the Y/n in this story has certainly pushed me to a point where I am the villain and will make sure that the hero doesn't win," he said, rolling his tongue at the back of his lower teeth, staring at the place darkly.

"I cannot deal with him," Hoseok said but suddenly all of them were hunted down by shadows. They formed a circle, facing the shadows, ready to use their powers at any moment but the clouds didn't provoke them further.

"Lord summons you to his noble throne," one of them murmured to Jimin. "Noble my ass! This looks like a black jungle." Yoongi commented.

Jungkook gasped, covering his mouth and looking at Yoongi in shock. "Did you just say black? Oh my God! We are with a racist!" He commented and Namjoon and Hoseok sighed.

"We mean no harm. We just need to see Y/n. I need to speak to your Lord." Jimin said, stepping forward. "Which Lord? This guy is betraying us again, isn't he?" Jin whispered to Namjoon who glared back at him, shutting him instantly.

The shadows moved forward, leaving two behind as the seven of them entered the castle. All of them stared at the castle in awe except Taehyung and Jimin. Jimin because he already had been here and Taehyung because. . . he's Taehyung. 

As the shadows took them to a huge hall they noticed a huge raised platform in the middle of the hall from where countless jewelries were hanging. There was a metallic throne carved in the center of the platform. The walls behind the seat had human feet sticking out from them. And on the seat was the main devil, Kibum, sitting in all his glory, staring down at the seven in front of him.

Taehyung tried to control his anger by gritting his teeth and shutting his eyes. "So you are all here. Just wait for a few moments in silence and the eighth one will join you too." Kibum said with a nasty smirk on his face. 

Damn, this much jewelry would cost a fortune. Jin thought in his mind and someone replied immediately. Don't even think about it. 

Jin's eyes widened and he turned to look over at Jimin who squinted his eyes at him. "Hey, stop reading and chatting with my mind!" Jin yelled.

He told you to stay silent. Jimin replied in Jin's mind without speaking. "Silence!" Kibum shouted and Jin glared at him before pointing at Jimin, "This guy is pretending to be silent but he is talking to me." Jin protested.

"We can't hear him like you though," Jungkook whispered to Jin and he scoffed before turning to Jimin. "Hey, how can you cheat like that? You are younger than me!" Jin scolded.

"You're old. How is that our fault?" Jungkook commented. Jin turned to look at him with furious eyes, "Yeah, I love it! I'm so happy I'm old!" 

Don't fight! Jimin told him through the mind link but Jin kept bickering with Jungkook. "You feel ecstatic about it?" Jungkook asked with a smirk. "Yeah! Old Age is real age!" Jin replied furiously.

It's so irritating. I'll just do it myself. Jimin read Taehyung's mind but immediately stopped him.

Taehyung, don't be ridiculous. Y/n is still held captive by them. Don't do something you'll regret later. Jimin sent the message to Taehyung who looked back at him before turning to look at Kibum. "Where is Y/n?" Taehyung asked.

"So all of you have gathered," said a female voice and we all looked up at a bald lady approaching them with Y/n behind her. She was blankly walking behind her but Taehyung frowned seeing the lady his eyes widened when he recognized her.

"Aren't you the same bald old lady who was blasted off by Kibum's powers when she fell into my universe?" Taehyung asked in shock, index finger firmly pointing at her. She smiled and nodded.

"What is going on?" Hoseok asked in confusion. "There is no need to be worried, Celestials. I will explain everything." The old lady said.

"I am Kiara, a scientist and a person with greater vision. One day, I discovered the existence of the Multiverse as well as my Variants who also achieved the same feat and began sharing technology and knowledge to aid in the further development of our respective universes. Kibum and Kiran are one of my Variants too." She said and the others looked at each other in utter confusion.

"Variants? What are those?" Taehyung asked as his eyes looked over to Y/n, calming down to see her confused stance as well. "You see, there are an infinite number of universes. Every universe has a version of you. We call them Variants."

"So there is a Kim Namjoon in every universe?" Namjoon asked, frowning his brows. "Certainly but they might not have the same name as yours but by the looks, yes."

"So there is an infinite number of Celestials?" Yoongi asked. Kiara smiled, shaking her head. "There are just seven of them."

"How? Then there are infinite Y/ns as well! Take them and give this one back to us!" Taehyung barked, pointing at her. "Oh, no. There is only one Y/n. And another human who doesn't have Variants. I'm sure Y/n might have come across him in some universe she has been to." Kiara said and Y/n's eyes widened as she stared at Jungkook who flinched in his place.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that? I don't have any variants?" Jungkook shouted with big eyes. "Professor Stan Lee. He told me how his Variants were merged into one because of a flaw." Y/n said and Jungkook covered his face, "What? Professor Physics is Special? How come I didn't know that?"

Kiara smiled and continued, "I joined the development project of a Time Chair to travel universes, led by me and consisted of every Variant of myself. However, as I noticed some of my Variants were tearing the Multiverse apart through supreme conquest, so I decided to eliminate them to ensure that I was the only one left. As a result, a war started between many of my Variants, with me taking on the title of the Conqueror.

I annihilated various timelines and those who resided within them. I also came across numerous Eternals, Avengers, and Superheroes, who I would go on to kill so often that I forgot many of their names. The threat that my ambition posed, the Council decided to exile me and banished me to the planet which resided outside of time named Yuki so that I could not continue my multiversal conquest, leaving me embittered and vengeful of this betrayal, swearing to exact vengeance on those who failed me." She said and Y/n looked at her with tearful eyes before whispering,

"And that's when you found me."
