Y/n's POV

"Is magic real? Then why can't I control it?" I asked Wong while eating the snacks that he prepared for me. "What is real, Y/n?" I looked up at him, tilting my head.

"Things I feel, see, taste. Sense. This is," I raised my chocolate in front of him. He chuckled shaking his head before looking back at me with a small smile on his face. "What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses?" He asked and I looked at him in confusion.

"At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts shape reality. This universe is only one of an infinite number. Worlds without ends. Some benevolent and life-giving. Others filled with malice and hunger. Dark places where power older than time lie ravenous and wanting. Who are you in this vast multiverse, Y/n?"

I blinked several times. "You look like someone who doesn't have any demons inside them. You are totally a good human being." I told him and he smiled slightly at me. "We never lose our demons, Y/n. We only learn to live above them." He said and took the books from me, standing up, and exiting the section of special books.

"I want to know more. How can I control my powers so that I can go back to my friends? I don't have any family. Tell me everything, Wong." I pleaded with him but he started keeping the books in its places silently.

Ignoring me.

"Wong, please! I want to know about Multiverse! Tell me everything about it!" I raised my voice, following him back to the counter but he abruptly stopped and turned back to look at me firmly. He stepped forward and stepped backward, "Learning of an infinite Multiverse includes learning infinite dangers. If I told you everything else that you don't already know, you'd run from here in terror."

My back hit the shelves. I gulped, staring up at him. He sighed. "You are a gifted one, Y/n. I don't want you to know so much that you end up turning against us." He said and I felt my heart aching. He backed away, turning his back to me.

"You don't trust me," I mumbled. He turned back with big eyes. He shook his head. "No, Y/n. It's not like that!" He tried to clear himself but I was done understanding him.

"You think I'm going to hurt others with my powers," I told him and backed away. He kept jerking his hands and tried to hold mine, guilt written all over his face "Listen, you are misunderstanding, Y/n."

I scoffed and looked down at the ground. "You all are like Kibum and Kiran. Just want to use me and control me the way you want." I said, my eyes falling on the flickers of silver from my fingers. I smiled but a bitter one.

"You are using me too," I told him. "Why would I?" He asked in shock but then pointed his fingers at me. "Your eyes are silver! Y/n, don't do this, please!" He said but I gave a dark smirk.

"You all are the same. Wanting to cage me in this library," I mumbled but then a huge beam of yellow light was thrown over into the library. I turned my head around, my blood boiling at the sight of the similar black cloud, entering the library.

The people were screaming and running out of the library but the cloud was moving forward, hurting someone in the process. "Everyone wants to mess with me!" I screamed in rage and flew forward, throwing the silver flames at the cloud, freezing its part.

"Everyone wants to hurt me!" I yelled.

Wong's POV

I gasped. Y/n's hair was flying. She was a complete silver flame, only her figure could be spotted. The cloud broke the ice part and his yellow eyes glared at her, moving forward again. She screamed and threw a huge ball of silver at it.

The dark cloud flew back, exiting the library, into the streets. Oh no! Civilians!

I quickly ran towards the exit and saw Y/n shooting her silver flames on the dark cloud while floating in the air. I was about to throw my magic on it but Y/n threw a big flame on it, freezing the whole cloud thing. She made a bigger silver ball and shot it at the frozen cloud, shattering the thing like glass.

But the pieces were falling to the ground. Oh no! I moved forward to stop it but Y/n emitted flames from both of her hands. Two star-shaped rings form on either side. The pieces were being pulled into one of them but she didn't notice how she was being pulled into the other one.

"Wong! The bus! The bus is being pulled!" She said while trying to move forward to prevent it but she was quickly pulled back to the other portal as it closed by itself. I gasped and looked at the school bus being pulled with the pieces with it.

"No!" I said and made a magical rope, throwing it at the bus, wrapping it, and trying to hold it in place. "Get down!" I screamed and the driver nodded before opening the door and making the children get down from it.

"I can't hold it anymore!" I shouted, throwing my head back and using all my strength to keep it in place but my feet kept sliding forward, me getting dragged by the bus. But suddenly felt my feet stopped. "Hey, there. Master Wong." I heard the deep voice and I turned around.

A grin plastered on my face instantly at the presence of the purple-eyed man who was holding the bus in place with his hands, purple powers emitting from it. His dimples showed as he passed me a smile too.

He turned back to the bus, a few children were left to get down. "Quick, kids!" He shouted and the last three boys jumped off the bus, the driver following them.

"We need to let this go. And the portal will close by itself. It needs at least one big object to pass through for it to close. Can you make a strong pole?" He asked and I nodded. I let go of the rope. If the bus wasn't separating us from the port then I would've been sucked by the portal too.

I turned the rope into a big pole. He extended his hand and held the pole with his one hand, the other one holding onto the bus. He stabbed the pole into the ground easily. "Wong, hold onto me." He said and I grabbed his wrist. He let the bus go and the portal sucked it in like a black hole.

My hand was slipping as the portal was closing, the power was too strong. My hands slipped his wrist. I screamed as I was being pulled by the portal but a hand grabbed my hand, holding me in place. And the portal closed.

I was saved.

He released my hand and I fell to the ground. "Oh my God! Oh my! I thought today was my last day!" I panted heavily and stood up on my feet. "Thanks, Sorcerer Supreme." I bowed to him and he smiled, eyes normal. No more purple.

"It's no problem. You are older than me. You can call me by my name. Where's the girl you mentioned to my men?" He asked and I sighed.

"She just fell into another portal, Namjoon."
