"There you go."

Danbi handed Chan a set of towels and a toothbrush. A small smile on her lips.

"Everything you need is in the shower and the covert." Danbi pointed to the shelves. "Minho has left some body wash and shampoo here in case he sleeps over."

"Thank you."

Danbi left the room, closed the door behind her and began to put coverts on a second set of bedding. She listened to the sound of the shower going on.

Her set of bedding was already laid out on the
converted couch. She changed into her sleeping clothes in the second bathroom. With a pair of shorts and a shirt, she was comfortable walking in around Chan, Danbi let some water boil to make tea.

"I'm ready." The sudden voice behind her made her jump.

"Chan." With one hand on her chest, she turned to him. He chuckled. "I'm sorry."

Chan's hair was wet, showing his curly hair structure. Face bare, a cream giving it shine.
He changed into a new black, oversized shirt and a pair of black shorts.

"Do you feel better?" Danbi turned her back to him, trying to hide her rosy cheeks.
She had seen him like this before but not in the comfort of her own home. Danbi even ran into him shirtless before, when the members invited her over for a game night and she arrived too early. Seen the other seven without shirts as well.

There was no denying that not all of them were incredibly attractive. She would be blind if she didn't notice it. But something about Chan and seeing him so comfortable in her apartment made her heart beat a bit faster.

But she pushed these emotions and feelings away. She didn't allow them to exist.

The kettle went off, giving her something to concentrate on for a few seconds. But she still noticed him leaning against the counter next to her, hands gripping the cold stone.

"A lot, thank you." Chan watched her pour the hot water into the cups.

"Step one complete." She joked and put the kitchen item back into its place.

Both chuckled, eyes meeting. The colour in her cheeks was back. He looked shyly at the ground.

"Good Night, Channie." Danbi closed the door of her bedroom behind her, walking down the hall to the living room. She was tired, bones felt heavy.

It was 2 am. She was glad to have another day off tomorrow.

Turning off all the lights before crawling under her duvet on the couch, her eyes closed with her back touching the furniture.
She wrapped the light covers around her body, letting the tiredness take over, slowly slipping into dreamland.

"Danbi?"

Her eye opened again, barely making out the shadow of his figure in the dark. He stood in front of the couch, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Everything okay?" She slowly sat up, worry lacing her tired voice.

A moment of silence. "No." His voice shook, almost broke.

"What's wrong?" She moved the covers to the side and stood up. Moving closer to him, she could make out the features of his face.

Chan's head hung low, teeth nibbling on his bottom lip and his eyebrow furrowed.

"Hey, talk to me," Danbi rubbed his arm, hoping to comfort him a little bit. „Please."

„Could you...," Chan didn't meet her eyes. „I'm scared to fall asleep alone." Her heart shattered with him sounding scared and seeing tears roll down his face, glistening in the lights of the city outside the window.

„My sinus problem is really bad at the moment. I can't breathe through my nose probably," He explained, sounding exhausted. „I have nightmares about it and wake up often throughout the night."

Danbi rubbed his arms. „I'm here. You're not alone, Chan."

A nod. A small smile. Danbi understood without him asking her. She picked up her set of bedding and followed him to her bedroom in the dark.

The city light being the only light source, they laid facing each other.

„Thank you." Chan whispered and squeezed her hand, laying between them. Dani smiled. His eyes barley stayed open.

„Sleep, Channie."

Danbi watched him snuggle up more into the blanket. He didn't let go of her hand, holding it carefully with his. She watched him relax, slipping into the dreamland.

„Good Night." It was a whisper before she closed her eyes and followed him into the land of dreams.
