We walked in the restaurant together, he was holding my hand but I could feel that he loosened his grip. He looked at the table with all his friends, family and Luna of course.
"You little shit" he nudged me laughing. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me with him to the table.
He immediately walked to Luna and picked her up, giving her a couple of kisses before greeting the rest of the people.

I sat down next to Lando. He put his hand on my thigh and squeezed it a couple of times. "Thank you" he whispered as he kissed my cheek.
It was honestly nothing, I would do everything for him.
"I'm so happy you guys are back together. He's been a little sob" Ria, who was sitting next to me, said. I chuckled a little. "So was I. It was stupid honestly. He makes me the happiest" I said and she immediately nodded in agreement.
I guess everyone saw it, it was so obvious that we belonged together.
"Are you still working for Red Bull?" She asked. It was a question I'd rather avoid. I nodded. Everyone thought it was weird, especially since Max and Lando were battling each other for the championship.
"Isn't it a bit weird?" The look on her face betrayed the way she was feeling about it.
She definitely thought it was weird. "I mean, yeah. I was obviously hoping it wouldn't be a battle between them" I chuckled as I quickly grabbed my glass of wine. I wanted to change the subject so badly.
"How's Quadrant doing? Are you still enjoying it?" An attempt to change the subject and it actually worked because she started nodding enthusiastically.
"I absolutely adore it. This is definitely my dream" I could see how genuine she was.
It was nice to see that she actually was doing something she loved.

We talked for a little while before I turned my attention back to Lando. He was mostly talking to his family. "I am going outside for a minute" I leaned closer to him and whispered.
I didn't want to interrupt his conversation but I really needed some air.
He nodded as he looked up at me.

The balcony of the restaurant was only a few steps away from our table, so it didn't take me long to feel the air against my face.
It was exactly what I needed. I wanted to give Lando everything but that also meant messing with Max' strategy.
I put my hands on the railing and stared in front of me. I was lost, so lost.
"Can I join you?" someone shook me out of my thoughts. I quickly turned my head and saw Max Fewtrell. I nodded with a smile on my face.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he stood next to me. He put his elbows on the railing and leaned on his hands, also staring ahead. "I am fine, just thinking about things you know" I said, trying to be vague.
He was Lando's best friend, he would pick his side or convince me to let him win the championship.
"Things or people?" He chuckled, turning his face to me.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Both" Max turned around, leaning against the railing with his back.
"Lando can win this on his own" he said as if I didn't know that.

It's not that I didn't believe in him, it was just weird to try and take something he wanted so badly away from him.
It wasn't fair, you don't do that to someone you love.

It's exactly what I did before, I took away his dream to have another child.
You don't do that to someone you love, right?
