Lando was already laying in bed when I returned to our room.
I was scared to walk in, scared of his reaction. He looked up from his phone when I walked in.
"That was a long debrief" he mumbled. I actually thought it was a pretty short one but I guess I was wrong. I shrugged my shoulders. "I didn't realize it was that long. Is Luna asleep?" He nodded. He was such a great dad. It felt wrong to lie to him.
Should I tell him now? "Cuddles?" He said as he put his phone away and opened his arms.
I guess telling him could wait. I really wanted to feel his arms around me right now.
We talked about the qualifying for a long time. Something went wrong with their strategy because he ended up in a lot of traffic.
I was almost falling asleep when I could feel his hands brush over my body, to my panties.
"Can we try again baby?" He was already pulling my panties down so I guess he wasn't really asking me. "Babe I am so tired" I mumbled. I didn't really need excuses anymore because my birth control must be working by now but I was actually very tired.
"Please baby" he said as he pulled me against his body. "Okay but make it quick" I couldn't even believe I was saying this. Sex wasn't for fun anymore, he made it his project to get me pregnant, as fast as he could.
I didn't even enjoying it a little, I was literally trying not to fall asleep. We used to have the most amazing sex but not anymore.

I grabbed my stuff quickly. I wanted to be on time, maybe even a little early. It would be my first race so I wanted to be as relaxed as possible.
"Luna are you coming?" I yelled through the room. "I am going with daddy" she replied.
I was getting annoyed. I walked to the bathroom, where Lando and her were getting ready. "No, you're coming with me, right now" I raised my voice. She looked up at Lando who was looking at me, he was frowning and definitely not liking the fact I was raising my voice at her.
"Go with mommy, I will come say hi before the race" he said as he kneeled down in front of her and kissed her forehead quickly.
He remembered that we wouldn't fight in front of her but I knew he would bring it up later.
I went to the paddock with her, we were early, just the way I wanted. Luna forgot the whole thing pretty soon because everyone was giving her loads of attention.
As promised Lando walked in the Red Bull hospitality to say hi to Luna. After he spend some time with her, he looked at me. "Why did she have to come with you? She clearly didn't want that" he said softly so she couldn't hear.
"Because we are the adults and we planned it like that" I chuckled a little. I knew he treated her like a princess but we were her parents and she had to listen to us.
"Plans can change you know" he said. I just rolled my eyes at his comment.
"Anyways Lando, I have a job to do" I said as I grabbed my laptop. "Yeah whatever. Go and try to make Max win" he said as he turned around and walked out of the hospitality.
There it was, I knew it would bother him. He always acted like he wasn't bothered by it but it clearly did.
I shrugged it off and tried to concentrate on the race. I shouldn't let my personal problems affect my job.
They trusted me with this so I needed to prove that they made the right choice.
Lando was having a terrible race. He bumped against the wall almost immediately so his race was kinda over by then.
Max on the other hand was doing great, he was doing exactly what he needed to do and easily won his home race.
I clapped my hands enthusiastically. "We did it" I said as I smiled at Christian. He nodded with the biggest smile on his face. "I knew it was a good decision to hire you" he said before congratulating Max over the radio. He was leading the championship comfortably by now.
I jumped off the pit wall and walked back in the garage, I went straight to the hospitality. I wanted to see Luna before the debriefing.
"Daddy won?" She immediately asked. I shook my head. "Max won, daddy didn't do too great" I said. She shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't too bothered by it but I knew her dad would be.
I was already not looking forward to seeing him. I was gonna avoid him as long as possible.
"You should come to the after party" Max pointed at me with a smile on his face. I shook my head. "I can't. I have to take care of Luna" I looked at her. She was coloring, or trying atleast.
"Lando can take care of her right? He has nothing to celebrate anyways" he chuckled before walking out to do his interviews.
I knew he didn't mean it in a bad way but he was right. I really wanted to celebrate with my team, so he could watch her for one evening right?
